I have to say- your guides never fail! I’ve never “tried’ for diamond Bluegill until tonight. With 2XP happening it made sense to try this out. Went straight to the rock on the east end. First, NOTHING! Changed from #8 to #9, just like you said! Two bronze Bluegill and a couple if Greens. Then I looked down in front of the rock and there are two huge Bluegill just sitting there! So I short casted, reeled in to 10.5 feet and watched both of them and a little Green fight over the same bloodworm. Caught that Diamond, casted again, and got the second Diamond!!! I was laughing so hard because it never happens that way! The first was 2.1lbs, and the second was 1.89lbs. The two most smallest Diamonds I’ve ever got! Great advice thanks! 👍🏻👍🏻
I returned to Mississippi today on cotw. After a while, I found a max weight hog track, and turned out to be albino. I tracked and ran back and forth for two hours. Texas heart shot him and scored 158 super rare. First super rare in 387 hours.
@@ProXCK I just finished watching because I had other things to do and Ill definitely try this when I get back to golden ridge but Im having a lot of fun in africa i caught my first 4 DIAMONDS in 4 days which were in order common carp, spotted bass, african tigerfish, and today a moggel. I can't belive I have 4 diamonds already normally my diamond luck is abismal.
@@ProXCK ALL of your videos helped me in the past, both Hunter and Angler videos are very helpful! Also, my wife and I use a lot of your phrases while fishing together, like: "It is A monster" or "she is taking line, a lot of it"
Must have caught about 100 silver, 5 gold no diamonds. This is one tough fish to catch. I tried both places and nothing. I have been at this for about 4 days. Also lake mix doesn’t really work. I see the fish but they just swim around my bait. So frustrating!!
Another successful guide. Got my first diamond bluegill at the second location on a size 6 hook with a minnow trying to catch a bass that looked decent 😂
Thanks for these guides, they have helped me catch 6 diamonds this week. Question for you, what weight of jig head do you usually use light, medium or heavy. Or does it not matter?
Awesome to hear! If I plan to jig across the top of the water I normally use a light jig head. The heavy jig head is better for jigging deep, since it sinks way faster

I don't think it matter tbh but it might

@@ProXCKgood to know, thanks again and keep up the good work .
I use heavy because it sinks faster. I think that is the only difference m8.
@@technoviking2415 k thanks
