I must say..Damn Amazing Machine, Sir!
Lovely. The banjos are usually brazed or silver soldered rather than lead solder which will suffer with vibration. My old Crusader had a very similar clatter no matter what I did with the tappets.
A beautiful sound after a while check the rocker clearance, don't just stand there reving it get on it and ride, this is the fun part...
All basic settings checked and ok. I have been up and down the lane and it went well, if I need to venture further on this one, I will film it.
What is in the magneto if it has crankshaft ignition?
Hi Roger, it was a while ago, but if I remember, it was just left there doing nothing.
Looks to be in pretty good nick . Cases could do with a spot and polish.
That would be a matter for the owner!

What year is that Paul ?
I am not sure, but it is a very early Interceptor, so it must be early to mid sixties, I suppose.
Hi Paul, She is a June 1964 Interceptor "Standard" as she has painted mudguards & chain guard also the sidelight is in the headlight.
Thanks for that, John!

The gearbox was dry because it was drained down for an exhibit in a museum.@@JohnDoe-ct8fu
