I just happend upon your channel. I own a C-182Q (1977). Planning to redo the entire interior - it is still the original one! Your video is great inspiration. Thanks.
The finished product is outstanding, nice job. Question, regarding the eye ball air vents, are those standard equipment for your model or did you add them. I've been trying to find those types for my 182N to replace the plastic round ones. If you know of a place to get them I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks for watching! I looked into just replacing the ball vents. I was unable to find a factory replacement, so I’m really not sure if those were factory or added later. Best option I can offer you is to check out these ball vents available on Aircraft Spruce: www.aircraftspruce.com/search/search.php?s=aveo%20ball%20vent I did finally drop the coin on the front Precise-Flow Air Vent Kit from Sporty’s. The cost was hard to swallow, but completely worth it once in hand and installed: www.sportys.com/precise-flow-air-vent-kit.html
@@CO_Pilot I've looked at different ones at Aircraft Spruce, haven't checked these out yet, thanks. I also bought the precise flow air vent kit. So far I like them a lot. Had to have an outside air temp probe put in on the wing just outside the pilot side door under the wing. One suggestion was to drill a hole for it in the windshield... YIKES!!! Didn't want to go that route.

Good luck with the project! I’d love to see some before and after pics when you get there.

Why does it need to be trim....It should fit from the factory ?
What sort of carpet did you get? Is it nylon? Wool?
I went with the pre cut nylon kit and added the ensoltite backing.
