Very useful. The location of the backup light connector make it very easy to splice into the reversing lamp positive for a reversing camera although you have to drill a hole on the rearmost face of the trunk in order to get the camera wires inside the car.
Mine has never had this trim piece since I've owned the rcz. The lights still work fine, and at least no crap to clean out lol😂.
And i ain't paying £70 or so to replace it,what a facking rip off for a bit of plastic!
Unless i come across one in the scrapyard for a couple of quid........
Hiya 👋🏻🤗, thanks for your comment, I'm sure you can get one cheap from a breaker on the owners club buddy 😊
Nice video. Very instructive. I just wonder if you can answer my question: once I have removed the reverse lights block as you did, do you think I can have access to cables coming from the license plate lights ? Indeed, I intend to place a reverse camera where the right licence plate lights connector is located for the moment and I wonder whether I can push some cables down the hole before putting back the license plate lights connector, let them run alongside the back of the car and find them back where the reverse lights block is in order to connect the camera to the green power cable of the reverse light.
Hi and thanks for your kind comment, that's a good question, the best thing to do is check out my other video which shows you how to change your number plate lights. You could put your hand up from the fog light and see if you can feel the wiring from the back if that makes sense ☺️
Have you replaced the front fog light bulbs with LED ones? If so what make/bulbs did you use?
👍👍
I'm glad someone is doing maintenance videos on the Peugeot RCZ... I've just bought a Cat N salvage RCZ 2.0 HDI with minimal front driver's side cosmetic damage and noticed in the boot today a black plastic cover that I nearly threw in the bin for not knowing what it was for. Thank the Lord 🙏for stumbling onto your video.. Ive just subscribed to you 👍
Oh wow 😲, I'm so happy this video helped you ☺️, sounds like it saved you a bunch of money 💰, thanks so much for your comment 😊

A cyclist hit the back of me then fudged of didn't know it was missing till I got home 😮
