Wow! Quite the watch adventure! I appreciate you sharing your story. I realize I should love my 1st luxury watch purchase as much as your love ur speedy. Thanks!
I have a 3576.50 with the same 1866 movement. it comes with a display case back. Now, you don't seem to have Geneva stripes on the chronograph bridge, the part that says Omega and connect chrono seconds and minutes. It could be because it wasn.t supposed to have a display back but it was my understanding all 1866 were finished equally. I'm also mentioning it beacause I send my watch back to Crown and Caliber for a moonphase malfunction and they sent it to Omega. when it returned, not only I was having problems with the chrono but they used a start/stop pusher arm that connects to the cam from an 1861 (I assume, since it was not finished). of course I sent it back and CnC rectified that now it work and look fantastic. Well just wanted to share my experiance and maybe i'll learn something. great videos by the way.
Hi Stefano, yes you have the black dial moon phase speedmaster, and yours does come with a display case back, I have never seen that version up close so maybe the movement indeed was finished better for display caseback, I would love to acquire the black dial version, I got mine couple years ago and now it seems impossible to find one for the price I paid back then, and the black dial version seems more expensive than the white dial, what kind of malfunction you were having with the moon phase? How long did you get it back from service? Did you have to pay for the service? Since CnC services their watches in house. Thanks for your support
Great to hear you are looking to get this model, I found this caseback maker on Omega Forums, you can check his website www.customwatchconcepts.com/ it is very well made, it adds a little more weight and thickness to the watch but totally worth it, because this movement is so beautiful.
That's a beautiful watch. ❤️ love the moonphase on the Moonwatch!

it is a 10/10
thank you It is the best version of the moon watch imo
I'm surprised they couldn't tune it to better than 9 seconds
I was thinking about that too, i dont know if its because this is an older watch, I guess it is within the range for a non COSC certified movement.
Awful service from Omega. Beautiful piece though !
