Toyota FJ Cruiser remote programming KEYDIY

Ensure the doors are unlocked, the driver’s door is open and the key is not in the ignition.
1. Within 5 seconds insert and remove the key from the ignition twice.
2. Within 40 seconds close and open the driver’s door twice.
3. Insert and remove the key from ignition.
4. Within 40 seconds close and open the driver’s door twice.
5. Insert the key into ignition and close the driver’s door.
6. Within 40 seconds perform either 7a) or 7b)
7a. Ignition ON and OFF 1 time = (to ADD a remote, without deleting any existing remotes)
7b. Ignition ON and OFF 2 times = (to ADD a remote, whilst deleting any existing remotes)
8. Remove the key from the ignition (The vehicle should lock and unlock the number of times the ignition was turned ON and OFF)
9. Within 20 seconds, on a new remote press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons together for 1.5 seconds. Within 3 seconds press and release the LOCK button. (System should LOCK and UNLOCK to confirm programming is complete or twice to indicate a problem.)
10. Within 40 seconds repeat from step 9 for any additional remote controls. 11. To exit programming mode open the driver’s door.
