WOAH. This is the first video I've seen the demonstrated the difference between X and ThroughPass on FUMA. I have to say I always thought they were the same and used X for through passes because it was easier due to muscle memory. Thanks for the tip!

@@dreamyagent007 No new PC yet; but the old one cost a decent penny to fix so it'll have to do for the remaining few months. Couldn't afford to fix it all but they changed the motherboard along with the CPU and GPU. Hopefully it holds up for the next few months till I'm able to get a new one --hopefully well ahead of PES 2022, pretty much my most anticipated game of 2021.

This is something i've tried a while ago because i literally tried everything to give a chance to this game. The problem with passing with cross is that for whatever reason the game takes in consideration the direction, and seems to not give a shit about the power you put in the pass. So lot of times you pass to a player you don't want.
But there's another problem that makes this one worst, the way your players are programmed to position themselves is too artificial. They are always aligned because they are scripted to go on aligned spots. You can see it a bunch of time in this video.
2:05 Pogba comes between Telles and Maguire. Then McTominay between Lindelof and Wan Bissaka. Then Pogba again between McTominay and Telles. And so many other times. Everytime.
With pass assist, if there's player 1, 2 and 3 aligned, you are player 1, if you put a lot of power, the game will understand you want to pass to player 3. With manual passing, if you put a lot of power, you will pass to player 2, but with a lot of power... Worst sometimes player 2 is not there yet, you pass to player 3, but player 2 runs on his spot between you two, and the ball bumps into him.
Playing with triangle seems to fix it. But then there's other problem. The least amount of power you can give to the triangle pass, so the less powerfull triangle pass you can do, is too strong. So when you play on small areas, and you don't pass toward a player, but toward a space, because you want this player to go on this space and meet the ball to shoot for example, he will be too short and wont catch the ball. Anyway, through or short pass, since you've aimed at a space and not the player, if there's another player in the direction you aimed at, the game will think you wanted to pass to him.
All of this because this game is dumb af.

In assisted passing the game holds your hand and make the switch for you. In "full manual" you have to make the feint with L1 + R2.
I tried this trick, it works like wonder. I also recommend to all FUMA players. Just try 2-3 games and you will feel it.

I often used to use through balls a lot on regular play but you don't get the freedom that you do on fuma. Definitely completely changes the whole feel of the game, so much more freedom to it!
Never thought about this, I'm an offline FUMA player myself and I always hated the way the ball floats on low passes. I usually do LB + double tap the cross button to smash it on the turf, but I'll give this a try as well.
Ah that's a good idea, could even switch the button inputs around if you're used to X to pass.
That's an even better idea.
X is still useful (as every of the four) in FUMA don't leave it :'(

Great video and I’ve been using the triangle thru ball more than x of late too. I’ve been trying to figure out why I have to power up x more than triangle when making passes and this video answers that. The difference is simply triangle passes are crisper and to the point as opposed to the regular x pass. Very interesting. I’m thinking somebody has said the same for manual on fifa too but I might be wrong. Great tip though. I have fallen in love with FUMA and I’m definitely not going back now!

when i play with my friends they tend to increase game speed.. when i play slow paced football.. the X button eats up my time so my the opponent team can take the ball from me..... it annoys me... THANK YOU.

You should try pressing your right stick once or twice especially when you are receiving the ball
How have you done this? When using triangle it takes a seconds or so to wind up. I don't ever use it for that reason. Yours seems way more responsive
Even in FUMA, try Triangle+L2

If only there was a button to make the collision detection work.. the referees have common sense.. CPU defenders actually try to stop you running straight past them.. players respond when the ball is lose.. the player switch work properly.

woow.. but i think it needs extra effort to aim perfectly to the player.. it might ruin your great chances
and that's what makes it genuinely beautiful. An error on the very simplest pass possible back in defense could turn tides in the match.

Why basic through ball? I use advanced through ball on ps4. Pretty op when you get used to it because you can place the ball exactly where you want it.

@@TheTrueBrits you can keep basic through balls when playing on advanced by holding L2 while passing TTB. it's best of both worlds
You can do 1 2’s with triangle if you press R2 at the same time just like pressing L1 with X
You can do R2 + X too. I prefer this way to avoid accidental cursor switch (aka stupid game it changed my player!)
Why the hell would I play on fuma? I used to play on pass assist 1 and I was terrible at the game.alot of misplaced passes and it used to frustrate me especially as I came from FIFA to PES 21 and only when I changed the oass assistance to 2 when I became I absolute beast winning the AI on legend difficulty on almost every match
That’s because the passing accuracy is automated, power applied has no effect on the ball movement and speed difference with PA2 and 3 is PA2 you have to direct, but power is irrelevant, easier to Tiki-Taka etc. With PA3, you don’t even need to aim anywhere, just pass to your hearts content.
PA1 reduces these elements drastically, it takes into account players strong/weak foot, power, position etc. That’s why you found it difficult. And on Manual, even more so.
The idea with Manual especially is to enable you to slow down the game and actually build up your attacks and pick your passes. With the other pass assists settings the gameplay is significantly faster paced and much easier to score from crosses/through balls etc. Without breaking a sweat.
@@BilalVadiaGaming with manual passing the game becomes so annoying as you make a lot of wrong passes. Tell me how that's any fun? I bet you can't win a single game on superstar or legend difficulty with manual passing even the truebritis knows that that's why he had to put the easiest difficulty
@@enowmessi2844 What are you talking about? TTB plays on Full Manual and on Superstar, in his Master League
@@enowmessi2844 of course you can, lol 😄, you just have to practice. If you don’t enjoy it then that’s your choice dude. The whole point of putting it on manual is to challenge yourself to become better. Not rely on the AI to help you everytime with everything. With manual you’re in full control of all controls.
And regardless of wether Ricky plays on legend or not, that’s not the point. As PES players we actually tell newcomers to start on the lower setting and work their way up. Ricky hasn’t used manual proper in full playthroughs besides this year. He’s still learning as well, as are so many others including myself.
Once you get a grasp of the controls, you can start to adjust the difficulty bit by bit.
With manual, the pace is slowed down considerably as you have to pick each pass etc. And not just ping pong it everywhere at breakneck speed.
Not everyone has to win all the time. Sometimes you have to lose, to know what winning feels like. And that’s what most of the normal PES players appreciate. The challenge.
@@enowmessi2844 A good manual (like PES league pro players, yes yes it's the truth) will destroy any assisted "master" player.

Only problem I have with triangle is that you can't play a really short ball like you can do with X because a through ball slows down over time while moving over the pitch.

Tap R2 after releasing a pass and the player who passes will make a forward run. (I’m assuming that’s what he meant 😄😄)

One thing I don't like on FUMA is you can't curl the through ball pass like you could let's say in real life. They just go straight.
You can curl them on FUMA by using advanced through ball, but it's so hard I gave up after 5 minutes.
Practice makes perfect, you can play some absolutely beautiful passes with Advanced Through ball, use the training mode to get the handle on it easier as you can select wether you want to play against opposition or not!
@@BilalVadiaGaming yeah agree! i'm playing FUMA and recently started with Advanced Through ball, because i felt the same as woba, basic through ball is too flat and straight. haha.
But wow does it makes the game so much fun now when i successfully execute through ball cutting through the defense with the right elevation and curl (depends on player id too where some player will modify the elevation to get the ball through better which is an added realism!). Playing on FUMA, i want full control of where the ball will or should go, it was frustrating to not be able to curl or slightly elevate the ball with basic through ball (you can only elevate the ball with basic if you crank up the power until full bar which mean well, the ball go so far).
i'd recommend Pes Manual channel for those who wanna see how advanced through ball can make your FUMA game so much fun!
Not trying to promote other channel above. But just giving some tips on different style of FUMA.
either way, FUMA is the only way to enjoy PES, or even any football game! hahah
I love TTB master league series this year because FUMA makes it unpredictable and fun!
@@ShikaIE agree with this, I don’t think it’s a promotion you’re doing anyway, I find with the PES community most try to help each other improve the game further and get more enjoyment out of it than you do already.

C'mon you can see the ball gets more air time, and consequently is a lot more bouncy by the time the recipient gets it.

just see how the ball bounces on the players leg.. also notice the time it took....
The through balls is in this video is very similar to how pass support 3 works, along the floor without any bobble and players control the ball easier and allows them to turn quicker.
Whereas with the normal X button, the SPEED of the balls movement is drastically reduced in comparison, it bounces/floats/spins depending on power applied which automatically makes the AI react to it and makes you lose a few seconds as they control it.

correct me if im wrong but doesnt fuma eliminate real player stats? So it doesnt matter if you are shooting with vardy or phil jones. Thats why i use pass support 1
Ohh trust me you still feel the stats. Power, even accuracy still matters
There's still a dispersion cone (as with guns). The more stats your player has the more chances he has to score. Also Vardy will be able to aim right at full speed under pressure. Jones won't.
Yeahh... BUT You CAN'T one-two pass with this, it'll end up with loop ball pass
I think you should try R2 + ∆, that should initiate a pass and move

This will work for playing balls to your players only to a a certain extent. It the final 3rd it doesn't really work as effective. Just my experience
Works for me all over the pitch, just depends if you want 1 - 2s etc, then youll need to use X
