@@TheNormi91 I've been listening to psy trance since '96. Todays Psy trance is the same tempo, the same effects , the same samples , the same song structure and the same soundbanks copy/pasted by 99.999% of the producers on scene. Atacama is no different. Go listen to Dragonfly - Order Odonata vol 1. Every track sounds completely different than the next , from an age where artists had a VERY limited selection of sound engineering tools and plugins compared to today. Now go listen a compilation CD from todays artists...its the same shit on every track. Psytrance is getting destroyed from within by artists that do nothing to innovate in any way, shape or form...they just pump out 10 versions of "generic psytrance track" and call it a day.
@@Thanos1908 That happens with every music style whats new and unexplored. Before they just didnt know what to do and did whatever, now standards have formed.
@@Inferamusic Ah yes..."Standards" like use the same squelch sound in every track...because god forbid you actually sample or engineer something else, that would make it Jazz or something /s This isn't a case of a music genre settling into its own skin..its a case of the same crap being put out over and over again because the artists don't challenge themselves at all. Both in terms of engineering and in terms of composition.
