Hey dude! Question for ya: I just shot a small scale rap music video on 16mm (canon scoopic), I'm waiting for the scans to come back so I can start editing. We got a couple long, continuous takes of the artist performing multiple verses, some of them are around a minute long. I'm a little worried I may have shot myself in the foot for post -- do you have any advice for matching the song/audio tracks to the performance? The scoopic doesn't have sound sync etc. and we didn't record scratch noise on location... Is there anything else to do besides manually matching the lyrics to the image via lip flapping? Would deeply appreciate any tips or thoughts. Love your stuff! Can't wait to see what's next
@@crawler911 hey thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution for you but I’ve been in that boat many times. My best advice is to stay patient while lining it up and just take your time. Realize that this is all apart of choosing this stupid format we love so much and be willing to take on the challenge. Good luck to you! Let me know if there’s anything I can assist you with.
