Hey everyone! Thanks for watching this latest episode of K-Town. I was super excited to try this place and honestly, the food blew me away. It's super delicious and well-made. Grandma Han is a culinary star in her own right, and she deserves all the recognition. Stay tuned for more episodes from Atlanta!
My girlfriend and I saw this video on Friday. We had tickets to fly to Atlanta for weeks and flew in on Saturday from New Jersey. We ate here twice, once on Saturday and again on Sunday. I had dolsot bibimbap twice! Absolutely delicious and I felt so fat when I was finished. I was hoping K-Town Atlanta would be bigger than about 1/4 mile, but it was nice to see another K-Town besides the ones in Edison and Cherry Hill, NJ. We are leaving Atlanta today and I wish we had time to eat there a third time! We also walked over to White Windmill and bought a few pastries. Not as good as Paris Baguette, but for Atlanta it's good enough.
Glad you enjoyed Stone Bowl! Atlanta doesn't really have a centralized K-Town, but if I had to pick a place it would be Duluth and Suwannee, which are a bit northeast of this place. They are basically entire cities of Korean restaurants, bakeries, shops and churches. Also, there is a Paris Baguette a half mile down the road from the White Windmill you visited. Also 2 other Korean bakeries in that area.
Last time I went, she stood in front of our table, it was random, but she was one of the cutest old lady that I had seen. If only I saw this video before I went, but honestly any dish from there is always amazing
Never thought I would here Covington mentioned on a popular UA-cam channel, it's nice to hear that something good came from there. I wonder if her restaurant is still open there, I'd like to go.
My parents took me to this one Korean place in NY when I was a kid and I ordered the bibimbap. When I got my order, I noticed the meat was raw. So I was like, WTF, the meat is raw. Then pops told me to mix it quickly before the stone bowl cools down. Hahaha! :p And sure enough, after some mixing, the meat was cooked.
This chef truly is a rockstar! EATER I love that your videos are succinct and don't drag on, but sometimes (as in this case) I wish your videos were longer and more detailed :).
Ayyyy peepin' that 60fps. Get a stabilizer harness or something for your camera crew, the poor guys/gals need that little extra help. Also, did not know that about the "colors" of food and health, that's pretty interesting. I love it when you include little things like that in these episodes. Thanks Matt!
he seems like the kinda guy who's never been to korea but because he's korean he thinks he knows a lot about korea... thats just the vibe i get from this guy
golfmaniac007 no way. watch his other videos. he cant pronounce anything properly and he doesnt know anything. the only reason they put him in korean food videos is because he looks the part

60fps cooking b-roll is so good.

Only ate bibimbap once. Changed my life.

The food looked great
Great Host! Keep Up the good work!
1:36 they don't give a fuck about his history lesson lol
More videos with Lucas hosting!
Hey ! I go here all the time
I've gone here a few times, the food is pretty decent. They have really good Korean pancakes.
craving korean food!!!
Hungry. 😫
Matt come to dc/md/va!
Ugh n I nvr got to try the food in Covington :(will have to go to hotlanta now!
60fps feels so good
That bowl looks bomb.
Did they record this on a phone or why is the camera shaking so badly at some points of the video?
Yummy😍when we were in ATL we eat at the Honey Pig💕
Yep. My kind of grandma. 5 seconds rule.
I'm so going Korean BBQ tmr!!!
have a good time!
I want her food so badly!
60fps booooiiii
the b roll shots of the chef cooking are in 60fps but there seems to be some frame doubling (I think that's what its called) in the rest of the video
60 24 mixed lol
It's a bit disorienting. I get that the food is the star so it gets 60 fps, but going back to 24 for the interview is jarring.
Is that 60 fps??
Wa. I wanna drive down there to eat
Wow I'm so jealous
The camera 😂
Ming Lee
So hungry ...
So broke.
60FPSSSSSSSS
sooo much better than that sushi video with the girl
cohesion.
he shouldve talked to her in Korean
he seems like the kinda guy who's never been to korea but because he's korean he thinks he knows a lot about korea... thats just the vibe i get from this guy
i bet he is more educated in korean history than u. lets just leave it at that.
golfmaniac007 no way. watch his other videos. he cant pronounce anything properly and he doesnt know anything. the only reason they put him in korean food videos is because he looks the part
his korean language skills are atrocious, but he's like many 2nd gen koreans. they know their heritage and food.
nahh i'd school this dude
eJay thinks only a korean guy who wears white BB cream on their face and talks like he's got endless constipated look is true korean.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
That bibimbap is basically a Korean Bao Zai Fan! haha
dont watch this when youre hungry. 60fps and food? bad combo. bad combo.
First :D
squid shouldn't be chewy, if it is it's overcooked
Idk
cringy
Really shoddy filming...
