I am a slater from London and the Welsh slate is the top of the market slate

The Dinorwic Quarry Closed in 1969, only 7 years after the time of this Documentary ( 1962 ). All of the Dinorwic Alice Class locomotives were preserved. Not sure about the Diesels though.
