Good deal on the ducks : ) Can't believe the amberina bird's tail has survived intact ......amazing ! I thought I was mug crazy....but we "only " have 46......like to pick up the ones that say " Coffee" somewhere on it .....lots of fun. Thanks for sharing your great finds .
Elmie Phelps Haines china is highly collectible and vintage...that pattern of daisies is quite RARE! It is German Bavarian from the 1900s. I recommend you list it internationally and it will bring quite a good price. I recommend listing between $140.00 to $75.00 conservatively. Having lived in Germany several years ago this pattern is very, very rare. Nice video as always... China's kinda my thing...smile.
Score! 🎉 Great finds Tina. Good luck with selling them. Nice to see someone make a tidy profit from Goodwill thrifts. I shop their stores but I don’t like them. They are a huge corporation making big profits from donated items pretending to help the community. What a load of crap. So I love it when I see something that slips by their greedy fingers and someone like you can make some money. As far as not seeing flaws or damage, you are not alone. My Gram used to say, blind in one eye and can’t see out of the other. It happens. Just loved this video! ❤️
The brass ducks/swans are gorgeous! with the long necks, I'm leaning more towards them being swans. Or geese. I am obsessed with mugs as well. Amazing haul!
Hi. The daisy gravy boat and underplate would have started out as a blank set of porcelain shipped from Germany and then the lady decorated it as an amateur which was a popular thing to do back in the first few decades of 1900. I am guessing that it dates from around 1920.
The ducks/swans are so cool but so big! I hope they sell well for you. Love the mug you found and yes I have a mug addiction also. There are worse things to be addicted to I tell myself every time a mug jumps in my cart! Those Herb Savors sell for about $23 on Amazon so that was a great find.
You did great! I would try the swans either on FB Marketplace or local pickup only. The shipping prices are going up for larger size boxes so it might price them out of the market. Hope you do go to that goodwill again, it’s kinda great.
I'm exactly the same way! I overlook things all the time. I think I get a sourcing high and my mind races trying to find the next great item. Love your sense of humor - that swan about knocked you out! Another great video!
I think the swans/birds are nice.. They remind me of the two small ones my mother had on her living room coffee table for years. By the way your wood wall is amazing!
Wow! Great haul! I collect mugs...what better way to start a day but with a favorite mug.🤗 That napkin holder was so pretty. I would have grabbed that too. The little end table could be quickly made into a unique piece....mod podge some favorite illustrations on the top...Viola! A piece of art...for more money...and investing very little time or effort....or you could also do a random mosaic with broken dishes.. it would take more time...but very unique! Thanks for sharing! 🙋♀️
Tina..I am the same way when it comes to observation skills. My husband..believe it or not...is the polar opposite and notices everything. Good luck with the ducks. Enjoy your sense of humor and your ability to laugh at yourself.
You must be a sister from another mother/father! I have the same issue of missing flaws in things until I get them home, and also for the same reasons. I love the analogy of *being in your own head.* Perfect. Lol I noticed on the Ebay post of the Sold ducks that the shipping was over $40 on those. It's just crazy! Gosh, I think I may have had a small daisy pitcher like that German set not long ago and couldn't find anything, but wishing I had done more research after reading the one comment on the value!
Nice Goodwill haul. I liked everything you picked out. Your videos are so comical, and interesting at the same time. I enjoy your honesty as well. I'm learning a lot. thanks!
I would have picked up the very nice limited edition print you looked at but passed by. I have found up a fair few at thrifts and garage sales for very little which have turned out to be worth a good amount e.g 50 cents (he was selling it for the frame lol) into $150. Each to their own. I have the same thing going on, my Mother always says that I have painted on eyeballs - just like my Dad :)
You can get either crayons or markers at the dollar store in different wood colours and you can fill in the scratches - works really well! Great ducks! I found some at a yard sale and didn't get them due to shipping costs from Canada.
I can’t believe how bare the shelves are. Our GW stores here in Orlando are so crowded you can’t even look at the stuff and you break stuff because it’s all piled on top of each other.
Those ducks so funny Tina. Will be good to see how they sell. I like pretty winter plates too ...97cents each. I think ducks took over your mind re buying little cupboard. Enjoyed vid. Australia.....Glenda 💖
I wonder why they had such a difference in price with the bigger one. It’s not $10 bigger lol. Sometimes I ask them for a better price if I find a set of things. Should have been at least $5 less I think. I hope you sell them! They are very cool! Sorry the guy broke up your family! 🤨
Love the Ducks! I would have tracked down the manager of my GW and asked for a better price on the largest duck, sometimes they will comply especially if you're buying all of them. Also, I can't believe the Amberina Bird's Tail was intact. I've seen many a bird with just a stub. lol
Yikes! That picture you picked up at 7:07 minutes looks like an original color etching. It should have the place on left, "Original Rendering" in the middle and artist's signature on right. If its embossed around the edge of the pic it is probably authentic. I"ve found several worth hundreds, from the 1920's Austria. 😊
I’m just here, because I’m in the area. Soo..... I figure.. While I’m here, right? No since in passing it. I might find something good if I go in. Soo...... LOL You don’t know how many times those exact words have silently passed through my mind. It’s great to finally actually hear them for real 😳 Btw Gotta love those water chickens!!
I think it might be adult ADD you also had as a child. It makes you a great multi tasked and able to quickly spot and decipher things of value. Because you are a scanner you overlook some imperfections at times. It’s my thing I’ve had it all my child and adult life. The reality is most good resellers are Attention Deficit Disorder ( not adhd) we don’t have the hyperactivity-but are on the same spectrum Great haul. Thx for sharing
My husband is exactly like this and he does have ADD, diagnosed as a child. It’s more prevalent in males. He’s amazing at scanning and quickly discerning issues, but bad at details.
I don't know how anything you manage to bring home ends up unscathed I realize these are thrift store items, but seriously your handling of things are pretty rough
hahhaaa WTF? I got ONE of those at the goodwill and ended up donating it to another thrift store. Not worth the hassle to me. I'm getting VERY picky because I'm so backed up with stuff to list. GOOD LUCK. If anyone can do it YOU CAN TINA. XO
Rich finds all of the damage on Collective Treasures Pickin Adventure. So not all of us men overlook things. Lol The biggest swan would have to weigh almost 15 pounds to break even on scrap price
See I don't understand how Y'all can afford to ship now that the shipping cost is different. Don't get the ducks there to heavy! Unless u save them when scrap prices go up! I'm the same damn way yes it's in the jeans I'm the baby of 4 older brothers and I do the same $hit, Then I beat myself up over being that way!
This is my first time to watch one of your videos, and I can’t get over how roughly you handle the merchandise. I kept thinking something is going to break. Made me nervous had to turn you off. Good luck with your business I wish you much success.
I live in Connecticut and the goodwills here do receive target merchandise, I believe it’s clearance items that target can’t keep in the store and they give them to goodwill.. I’m just not sure if they sell it to goodwill or they donate it to them?.. thank you for sharing love🤗❤️

Thank you, Lisa! Yes, they certainly don't catch everything.
I’m so happy you got the swans - I kept saying please buy them!!!! They are fantastic
I was saying that too...lol
...& threw them on top of rare China 👀👀🙄🙄🙄 smh...
I love your videos Tina!
I would've kept the birdhouse for myself too.
Thank you for bringing us along.
I like the way you shop. At least you give us a chance to look around too. And I like your taste..

If those oriental vase lamps are Ethan Allen, I just sold one for 500.00.(including shipping) All the birds are amazing!!
I would say somebody dropped something heavy on that spot. But you can get some wood putty and fill in that crack than just recolor the top!

Hi Tina, great video! Would you share what cutlery names are good sellers?
My husband is exactly like this and he does have ADD, diagnosed as a child. It’s more prevalent in males. He’s amazing at scanning and quickly discerning issues, but bad at details.
The swans are 1960’s. A pair sell between $59 - 100.
Our goodwill gets target crap, so many boxes with no pictures on them.
I loooove that Amberina bird!
You should have titled this video “ this thrifting trip is for the birds!” Lol. So many bird things.
I about died laughing every time that lady with the squeaky cart walked by you!😂😂😂 P.S. What the Flock was an amazing choice!
haha, I didn't even notice her lol
Since you keep calling them ducks, I say leave them!
I think the bird is Viking glass

Let's hope not 😳
Didn't you pick up a red and white dress? First thing you threw in the cart?
Please go back and rewatch the video where your looking at the table to see if the crack is there.

That crack is very fixable with some wood filler and a stain, or leave it to add character.
