Actually, met him once for about fifteen seconds. Told him that I like his devotion to "the old school" tradition of the business. Was hoping he'd stay in character and give me an insult. He did stay in character, but I didn't get an insult. Just a smirk and a nod.
Honestly, I can see this guy becoming a legend like Flair, Hart, Anderson, Rhodes, and others. He just has to last long enough and not burn out or sustain severe injuries that force him out of the business.

I got the chance to see him out of character at an event I worked a few months ago, and omg what a nice person he is. Cannot tell you a lot, but he's truly an awesome and kind person.

I can’t express enough how good this guy is. The perfect interview. MJF will go down as one of the greatest heels ever. This interview cracks me up so much. Two very talented people feeding off of each other. Such a breath of fresh air to have something like this to take your mind of the national deficit.

Let me just say. I’ve watched sports entertainment for forty years. And MJF might be one of the best characters I have ever seen--he’s clearly the future of what makes the sport so charismatic and enigmatic--mic skills and personality skills.
This is how a professional wrestler in this day and age should act outside of wrestling , restore some belief in the product especially for the youth.
