Lucas is a brazilian youtuber (his channel just completed 9 years) and he did mainly comedic videos/sketches, but year after year he showed him playing some music as well. He plays guitar since he was young and its probably his best instrument, although I believe he has said that the drum is his favorite in the past. He recorded quick videos of him playing, never singing. Then, one day, he started singing but still shy. Then he started doing covers of brazilian funk songs into rock and got famous for it, even did a gig in Sao Paulo which brought 5k people to the audience before Covid in 2019, but Covid fucked him as it did everyone else. At the end of 2019, he uploaded his first "2019 in one song" video, which had great reception! Then he made it a series and did one every year since, always releasing on december 31st. That's also when he showed his skills on all these other instruments. Worth saying he has been studying a lot vocals with one of the best in Brazil, same with drums (he had classes every week for some time with Eloy Casagrande from Sepultura). He has said in the past that he wants to start composing and producing his own stuff. He also came back with his "playlist de funk" at the end of 2021 which have had great reception. He has a secondary channel called "Lucas VInicius" where he only posts song videos, not related to his comedic stuff on his main "Inutilismo" channel. He's done 2019, 2020, 2021 and now 2022. In Brazil we have a famous singer, Roberto Carlos, who does an end of the year special on tv since forever. It's been a new year tradition for quite some time, but mostly for older generations. Now Lucas' videos became the new year tradition of the younger generation.

The fact you complimented him so much on his voice is amazing since he's admitted to being shy about it. He is growing out of it, sure, I just checked out a show of him doing his Playlist of Brazillian Funk with his band and it was so fucking awesome! He turns every song into metal rock and the crowd is filled with rockers listening to funk-rendered-rock songs talking about sex lol It's really great. He has this comedic side to a simply genious music ability. (And though he has help with the production of the videos, he's the main brain behind adapting the songs, playing instruments, mixing and transitions in these yearly music videos)
Basically he does one of these every year. 2020 was like PEAK quality compared to the previous ones he did, but yes, the quality keeps increasing every year he posts one. He always posts at the last day of every year, and you totally SHOULD watch 2021 and 2022!
