Graydles have got to be my favorite archetype hands down. I love the gooey aesthetic and I love to eat my opponent's monsters. Please gives us more synchros Konami
Watching you play fluffals and salads, made them look super fun, ended up building them on duel links(missing 2 frightfur fusions) but really enjoying them 💜
Salads also a lot of fun in duellinks but we miss flame buffalo, spinny, Miragestellio, Salamangreat Rage, and all of the otk setup for second turn. But its still T1 over there
I feel like you really need to be playing either of the Counter Traps even if you're on Heatsoul Turbo(and should at least grab Cynet Conflict from Micro Coder if you're on that build and can get to it). On top of saving you from dumb board breaking situations those can assist in facilitating a board wipe by shutting down a negate board's attempts at counterplay when you have the required monster on the field, which for Salamangreat can be either of their Link 1s as the minimum requirement.
Tiers are supposed to be differentiated by winrate, for instance a deck that is competitive but has a lot of weaknesses could have around 50-52% winrate and be considered tier 3; an overall good deck but not having any clear over the top strengths could have around 53-55% wn and be considered tier 2. A deck with lots of strengths and interactions that might be too good could have 56%+ wn and be called tier 1 or meta. And then there's some situation where a deck just beats everything and there's nothing that can beat it, these scenarios could end up with a deck with 60-65%+ wn and be considered tier 0. And ofc if a deck can't reach the 50% mark, it's tier 4 and under, but there's not a lot of reasons to bother classifying these spots.
This is why I always run one avida in the deck, if you open code generator, formud skipper or gatchiri it's searchable as part of the combo and you have a strong crackback and then just make your combo again :)
Just use a deck with 12 one-card link 3 turbo starters and 24 handtraps and fill up the remaining slots with crossout designator and called by the grave. Then turbo Heatsoul on turn 1 and have like 4 or 5 handtraps in hand, that's my strategy. You need a shitload of UR's in Master Duel for that tho
Admits he doesn’t play salad backrow. Continues to draw handtraps for 12 turns straight bc he pulled all the gas from his deck making access code 3 times.
War Rock is better than Code Talker, also Swordsoul, Despia, look how much HalqDon even had to go through to have a fraction of the power of the mighty War Rock Mammud
His point is anything below tier 1 doesn't need to be tiered because it doesn't matter Why does it matter if war rock is better than code talker in meta relevancy if both can't beat splight / tear consistently
@@jps_user20it matters for dealing with the rogue andys who cannot take a loss well when I play a meme deck and win, or when the DM cosplayer/idiot shows up then conplains about how much better he is on "Master Duelist" than he is at locals using the same deck. Basically, it exists solely to prove a point to someone who wants to call a Tier 3 causal player a "Meta Sheep." Vanquish Soul in TCG is a good example. I can take games against Unchained all day. Unchained can take games against Rescue-ACE all day. And Rescue-ACE takes games against the entire rest of the roster all day. My niche Tier 3 deck has a favorable match up against Unchained and Purrely. But loses to the sheer recursion and power R-ACE outs out. And no, TCBOO is not a reason for wins, Abyss Dweller is.
The difference between tier 3 and tier 2 is how they interact with other decks that aren't meta. It's not like tier 1 is the only decks people are playing.
How tier 2 and 3 work is that tier 2 will take most games from 3, and can steal a good number of wins from tier 1. Tier 3 is different from rogue because it exists as the check a rogue deck needs to be able to clear in order to even try their very specifically tailored-for-Tier-1/2 strategies. To think about it another way: Tier 3 is Rogue Tier 1.
Why people rate with tier numbers: If you only say theres tier 1 and rogue you would say there is no diffence between (example) mathmech and prank kids.
I looked it up and apparently it has something vaguely to do with how often the deck wins competitively and some of the factors can include how often it bricks or how well it gets past hand traps. Tier 1 is the most successful decks in the meta, tier 2 is something that wins frequently and can be used competitively but maybe isn’t as powerful as a tier 1 deck, tier 3 is something less competitive and so on. The tiers themselves are arbitrary so it really varies with personal opinion

Glad to see some of the older, more reactive decks taking games. I just find the whole link-climbing, special summon spamming type of decks to just be no fun at all so its great to see them stumble every now and again. The only thing I dislike more are those full on negate boards that just plain don't let you play the game.
Now, when you say reactive, do you mean "Inspector Boarder" + "Fossil Dyna" + Floodgates, Or do you mean an actual deck. Cause as a TCG player, I am exhausted with these Floodgate players. Their room temperature IQ causes them to buy the OCG Korean prints online, then get butthurt when they get a judge call for using illegal cards in an official event.
You didn't have any win conditions lol The access code talker isn't going to save you in any duel you can see it in this video A violent chimera would have been great in this duel
