The problems that befell this movie in 2013 would still today. Jonathan Kent dying to save a dog and telling his son not to use his powers will still be as dumb today as it was ten years ago.
8:55 the exact moment, when all seems lost, people are dying, Clark is weakened, the beam of celestial force literally puts the weight of the whole world on to his shoulders, THIS is where Superman was born, his will tested, Henry Cavill is The Man of Steel. Thank all of the movie crew they did an amazing job. #RestoreSnyderVerse
The bit starting at 3:44 when the avionics are going haywire and crashing into buildings with the music playing in the background, oh my god it was just stunning man. Goosebumps
nah this is more like the music u play when u passout after destroying an alien spaceship that constantly made you weaker , while relying on your friends to bomb another spaceship with your old cradle. + lets not forget about future freinds (and current friends) almost dieing in the process of this battle
If you put Jor-El quote, which this one is my absolute favorite one "You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time you will help them in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders."
Snyder's Justice League has made me appreciate Man of Steel and Batman v Superman so much more. It's extremely disappointing that the DCEU likely won't continue as we know it, and it will instead be a patch work of one off stories with no through line. Cause god damn, I really want to see more of these characters, but especially Cavill's Superman. He was born to play that role, like RDJ was born to play Tony Stark/Iron Man, or Chris Evans was born to play Captain America. What a time to be alive if you're a fan of both Marvel and DC.
Exactly man 🥺🥺🥺🥺 I love amd admire both Marvel & DC.. But unlike marvel DC is wasting its best Resources & stories. Seriously DC should change the way it is doing the things.. 😐
Just imagine this part 7:55 in JL where the league is starting to lose hope, then you hear a loud boom in the sky and the John Williams theme begins to play revealing Superman flying towards Steppenwolf and knocking him down. After that the league gets into a badass line-up shot with Superman in the center inspiring hope. That would be epic!!
I know haters will dislike this comment, but Man of Steel's OST is easily one of the best soundtracks for film, superhero or not. And as for defining Superman, Hans Zimmer's work on Man of Steel is beyond amazing, as well as his contributions along Junkie XL on Dawn of Justice. Sure, John William's music for Superman I and II is great and all, but this transcends John's Superman music. As for Henry Cavill's portrayal and the Man of Steel film itself...best Superman IMO.
This does absolutely not transcend John Williams Superman theme. In 30 years time people will still identify Superman with William's theme. I doubt anyone will really remember Zimmer's except for movie soundtrack enthusiasts.
Connor Hickling You're mistaken. In 30 years time, people who still remember Reeve Superman would be dead lol. Majority will incorporate Zimmer's music to Superman especially since in 30 years, this will be THE Superman to look back to. Everyone said that TDK Trilogy would be lackluster compared to the original Batman especially in terms of soundtrack yet look at us now, not even 30 years later, with majority incorporating Zimmer's track to Batman.
You're right about quality, I think that's why so many people recognize Williams theme over Zimmer's. Same can be said for Danny Elfman's Batman theme. Such high quality pieces of music compared to what Zimmer's done. That being said, there's some fantastic tracks in this OST. Just not exactly memorable.
Whenever he is flying into the world engine, everone started standing up and cheering and there were girls and guys crying as he looked up and you could see for a split second Christopher Reeves in the Man of Steel's face. Amazing movie. My favorite of all time.
+Trey Perdue Where was this theater? I've never seen people actually stand up and clap that hard in a movie. Are you pulling this out of your ass, because it sounds too amazing to be legit
They've got to make a live action Mass Effect Movie with Seth Green as Joker and Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda Lawson, I would suggest J.J. Abrams direct it and Hanz Zimmer does the music.
Hell yea, idk if its just me but if you watch Justice league dark Apokolips war, if u sync this up with Trigon telling superman to leave or fight him it fits so perfectly together
Saw the movie last night. It was amazing. In my book it's about as good as The Dark Knight, which I've always considered the best movie I've ever seen.
this movie is about alien invaders where the "red caped" Kyptonians came and tried to terraform the Earth and destroy humanity and Superman facing Zod who was basically his equal, whereas in Batman v Superman, Superman took on another challenge where he faced a mortal named Bruce Wayne. Justice League will be about alien invaders again, and it makes me wonder how Superman as well as the rest of the Justice League will take on this new threat
The other parts that everyone likes are great and all... But the part of this track that has always stood out to me is the quiet part with the deep rumbling strings at 5:40. Just always stood out to me.
I'm far from a Hans Zimmer fan boy but this soundtrack along with Dawn of Justice are extremely good and craps all over the Superman Returns OST (which was/is quite good). This song gives me a sense of wonderment, hope, despair, humanity, and brink of defeat, and ultimately perseverance.
9:03 this reminds me of something from Superman The Movie soundtrack, either from movie itself or one of it's teaser/trailers. But I can't put my finger on what exactly,
I think the titled of this song is interesting when contrasted to the irrational idea of a man flying around simply his arms outstretched, magically punching through the atmosphere. Everyone knows that appropriate tracking is done with your arms back down at your waist.
The actual, original name for this movie was "Woman of Recycling", but they then changed it to "Person of Sustainable Iron and Coke Mining", then "The Positive Effects of Crystalline Defects in Grain Structure", then "Why OSB Board is Stronger than Typical Plywood", and finally "Man of Steel" for successful marketing effects. The marketing director for this film was famed author and politician Remus Nimrod O'Flannigan, also known by his nom de guerre as "General Butt Naked".
I feel like the world wasn't ready for this movie on 2013, but now they are...
Truly a masterpiece ahead of its time
for real
Ready to see why it was crap? You're right
The problems that befell this movie in 2013 would still today. Jonathan Kent dying to save a dog and telling his son not to use his powers will still be as dumb today as it was ten years ago.
"You might want to step back a little bit."
"Maybe a little bit more."
That was so funny and earnest at the same time. It was legitimately funny without forcing humor.
lois was like😌
@@mainstreetsaint36 EXACTLY! At the time back in 2013, I didn’t know why people found Man of Steel humorless
😲🤭😙
Best part for me is 7:55 - 9:25. When you're on your last set working out and felt like giving up already, but you know you still have some in you.
💪

I used this part of theme in this video Check it out.
💪🏽
listening to that in theatre was the most epic experience I've ever had. Cavill was perfect.
8:55 the exact moment, when all seems lost, people are dying, Clark is weakened, the beam of celestial force literally puts the weight of the whole world on to his shoulders, THIS is where Superman was born, his will tested, Henry Cavill is The Man of Steel. Oh my god! 4:45 - 5:30 is so amazing. The best superhero soundtrack i've ever heard, maybe one of the best soundtracks in film history.
I love the build up that starts up at 5:00
Total chills!!
I thought this was the main theme of the movie.
One hell of an ost this movie has.
***** Ikr Hans is a genius!
Hans Zimmer my friend.
One of the most epic soundtracks i have heard .
6:49 you guys CANNOT tell me you dont get a hell lot of chills at this part..
I get hella chills. Favorite part of the ost
Superman Legacy could never top this
When life breaks you, you fight, you rise and you live!
The bit starting at 3:44 when the avionics are going haywire and crashing into buildings with the music playing in the background, oh my god it was just stunning man. Goosebumps
The terraforming part was something from another world man wow it was just beautiful
7:55 to 9:22 gives me the biggest goosebumps in my entire life! You're a genius Hans Zimmer!
Hans Zimmer: always there to save a movie.
But Man Of Steel was greatness
So is that why Marvel wanted him?
+RingBound Productions™ Nah its because hes the best. Coulsnt watch MoS without hin though.
epic build up
7:06 doesn’t get talked about enough. My favorite part.
This is truly the losing hope moment
I love this part! And the music before when Zod shuts down Jor-El
I ALWAYS get chills at the transition at 4:45
Me too
Me too 2
I just think of that JL re-edit, where Supes sees Barry and that plays.
@@thetinthdoctor dude yeesss, Im here cause of that
3:41 to 5:37 is EXTREMELY badass.
agreed
With the high pitched Man of steel music
When it drops...and then drops again...this truly is a masterpiece
3:20 Kal El flyes off to destroy the world engine, while Colonel Hardy leads the charge to Metropolis.
This is my workout music
nah this is more like the music u play when u passout after destroying an alien spaceship that constantly made you weaker , while relying on your friends to bomb another spaceship with your old cradle.

+mike alexander Who's to say that Kal-El wasn't doing both?
Mike T literally same for me
This, Arcade, Zodd Suite are my go to workout playlist
Yes
If you don't get chills from listening to 7:52 - 9:22 you never will
If you put Jor-El quote, which this one is my absolute favorite one "You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time you will help them in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders."
I do even after the thousandth time of listening to it.
I didnt for some reason. But his "Time" from Inception sure did set my hairs straight up with no product i them
If you watch at 3:42 on the Superman Destroys The World Engine scene from MOS, you'll here the true impact of this soundtrack. Trust me.
5:00 too
There's so much to be done in this Universe if Warner could only put thier hope in this.
The terraforming scene is a thing of beauty

Everything about the DCEU is fucked because WB has no idea what the fuck they are doing.
That would be epic!!
well, it would have been great. Unfortunately,...
And the joss whedon came and brought elfman who didn't use a single music peace from hans.
Grobar Jug or compose anything original for that matter
Hope you are all still alive to have witnessed the Snyder Cut
Then 5:00 when superman goes attack
I know haters will dislike this comment, but Man of Steel's OST is easily one of the best soundtracks for film, superhero or not. 7:50 when Supes takes out the Engine, while Perry tries to save Jenny....amazing scene
Every time I hear from 7:59 I look up and close my eyes slowly and raise my hand in a superman fist
hahaha thats funny. I can imagine your mom yelling ' Dinner is ready' totally waking you up from that.
Emanuel Cazarez same XD
Plot twist, his mom's dead
Same here
Skool boyz hahaha
Listening to this bc Danny Elfmans theme in JL is horrendous. I miss this
Same 😢
Agreed
Agreed, it was garbage!
It wasn’t exactly garbage, but it wasn’t fitting
They fixed that in the Snyder Cut. Thank God.
Whenever he is flying into the world engine, everone started standing up and cheering and there were girls and guys crying as he looked up and you could see for a split second Christopher Reeves in the Man of Steel's face. Amazing movie. My favorite of all time.

This song is beautiful. Perfect. And I feel like tears coming out of my eyes at the end.
+Paul Rivera listen to if you love these people absoluutely amazing the end bro the end!!!!
The Zimmer effect always make me smile.
One thing I love about DC is working with the legend Hans Zimmer 🙏 🔥
5:01 Best part
1:52 and 7:04 are epic as hell. As a Mass Effect fan I always think about a reaper when I hear that!
brofist i think the same bro
They've got to make a live action Mass Effect Movie with Seth Green as Joker and Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda Lawson, I would suggest J.J. Abrams direct it and Hanz Zimmer does the music.
Erik Lehnsherr Dude i totally agree!
+Erik Lehnsherr you have good ideas.
Nope 👎 7:53 is epic as HELL!
5:40 chills ❤💙
8:54 when in your desperate hour you reach out and superman takes your hand and saves you

"Oh my god, they're terraforming!''
I still come back to this.
Pure goosebumps from 7.55 to 9.22 ! Heavenly ...
7:05 IS LIT AF!
Here I was enjoying this track, when suddenly 5:00 happened, completely catching me off-guard by its mastery
I'm sorry but I have literally been waiting since inception for this kind of beauty that makes a movie unforgettable...
dang no one’s talking about 6:50 i think that’s the best part
it certainly is!
Totally agreed

Saw the movie last night. It was amazing. In my book it's about as good as The Dark Knight, which I've always considered the best movie I've ever seen.
WOW! Finally someone thinks similarly. I don't know if it's as good as TDK but it's an astounding piece of work that I can watch over and over.
5:01 this is moment music epics

Can anyone else just imagine a *very* pissed off Superman with the part from 5:00? XD
Yes search superman vs justice league hanszimmer track
That gives me shivers of joy - it's such an epic classic superhero moment - like right from a comic book.

you should listen to the interstellar soundtrack
interstellar-mountains extended or tick tock. or no time for cation. or STAY OR S.T.A.Y. i mean all of them. that movie is awesome and my fav 🎶😄
9:03 this reminds me of something from Superman The Movie soundtrack, either from movie itself or one of it's teaser/trailers.
But I can't put my finger on what exactly,
0:00 to 9:50 is the best part
We went from this, to the dark theme’s of a darkseid corrupted superman
Hope they played this masterpiece in B v S....it would be awesome!
I love that bit when he says that and Lois smiles:)
7:55
*Slowly raises fist*
This song is basically every song put together...

I love this part!
I think the titled of this song is interesting when contrasted to the irrational idea of a man flying around simply his arms outstretched, magically punching through the atmosphere. Everyone knows that appropriate tracking is done with your arms back down at your waist.
Jay Flippen - What are you, stupid? Humans can fly without appropriate materials, research, and a basic understanding of physics. It is called magic.
I'm glad that Henry cavill is back
Hars Zimmer - Terraforming
Outstanding work
I watched it 4 hours. Still crying.
3:43, i love this part! it sounds like Mermaids from Pirates of the Carribean
unos de lo mejores temas de el hombre de acero
Man of Steel 2 is in the works!!!! Can't fucking wait! Probably will be a 2018 or a 2019 release. Long ass time from now but excited nevertheless.
