Shiny Toy Guns were formed in LA back in 2002 by Jeremy Dawson and Chad Petree, childhood friends who grew up together in Shawnee, Oklahoma. After building up a following on MySpace (aw, remember Myspace?), they started touring the US and released their debut album, "We Are Pilots," on Universal Records in 2006. The follow-up, "Season of Poison," followed in 2008, as did an appearance on "Yo Gabba Gabba" as "The Shinys." Their latest album, the appropriately-titled "III," drops on October 23rd.

Man I absolutely adore Shiny Toy Guns acoustic because it has so much feeling in it.
its nice to see carah back and that they all having fun once again, you can see her holding back a smile while singing.

I didn't know Maverick from Top Gun was in a band - he not only rides a motorcycle, plays volleyball, has a romantic relationship with a supervisor, shoots down multiple Migs in an afternoon, he can also sing! Sweet!
I was ready to click away..very melodic and a breath of fresh air.

Man, how embarrassing for this band to be in the same room as Rebecca Black.
It sounds like they had a great deal of Fleetwood Mac influence on this song. Compare it to Dreams by Fleetwood Mac.
haha yea, she put the emphasis on "toy" instead of "guns". people usually do that when they're unfamiliar with what they talking about. i.e. she doesn't listen to this band
