Just wanted to stop by and say hello. It's been a while, I know, but I still follow your thumbs in my feed. As I've grown, I've had to let go of many channels.
I'm about to do my first solo travel in less than two weeks to study in Rome. This clear and fun guide certainly helps to ease my anxiety as I was stressing on how to take the train from the airport. Thank you so much!
I just got back from Rome. Best tip # download an app called Free Now. It's the local version of uber. Professional and so much cheaper than local taxis.
we took trains when we went to Poland wasn't too bad but working out the Bus when we got to Warsaw and where to catch it that was another story did Da things
@@leonardsheatravel I know what you mean. While I'm not as well travelled as you, I'm getting there... I have and will be posting more soon. I recently posted my trip to the Shloss Neuschwanstein and I also put up my Willy Wonka film location experience a few months ago. I have so much footage to sort through. haha love it
You’re terrific! This is exactly what I - a first time visitor to Rome - needed to navigate how to get from the plane to the Leonardo Express to take me to Roma Termini.
Hello... If I don't have any baggage to claim; do I follow the red line for the train from terminal 3 as soon I'm off the plane? Thank you and thank you for sharing!!
It was all pretty streamlined. We didn't wait long for luggage. It was less than 10 minutes after we had walked all the airport and through security. Good Luck! Thank you for watching!
Hey Leonard....excellent video ,especially for senior solo travellers like myself.Thank you so much,it eased some anxieties on my part.Your humour rocks!!
We got the same in Tampa airport, a little rail-tram that brings you to and from the main concourse. You didn't get a car ? If your able to drive the 401, & 427 you can drive anywhere.🤣
I have flown into Tampa a bunch of times wishing I didn't have to go back to the snow in Canada. Looks like you stayed! Lucky you! What the video doesn't show is that we got on a train and went to Florence an hour later to shot a bunch of videos for WALKABOUT FLORENCE TOURS company. The good old 401 and 427...you still know the highways! They just keep getting busier and busier every year. More traffic! Hope you had a great Christmas and don't get toooo crazy for New Years!!! YYYyeehhaaaww!
So true. It was the only time I had to get off a plane to get on a train to walk for a mile to get my luggage! Hey but the food in Italy was all worth it. I have never had food that good. Happy Holidays!
Thank you for this! Walked me through the exact route that I'll be taking haha, even have the same flight number! Do you know if you're allowed to take skiis on the train (as in a large ski bag)?
Hello! After you put your train ticket in the machine to open the door, don't you have to put the ticket again in the little green machines in the walls? Thank you so much for the video👏🏻
Great to see ya here my Irish friend! Yes it is a big, busy airport. And there is a fooz ball table! Only in Italy! Hope you are enjoying your holidays! Thank you for stopping by.
I was trying to figure out why he’s talking weird- i get it at the end! He’s trying to speak with “italian accent” So after u bought ur ticket from the ticket booth, u have to validate it first before scanning to enter the train flat form? Where do u validate it? U didnt show it jn the video

Hi! So you scan the QR code to get through the automated doors...and then you need to validate again with the oval-shaped green machines?
Italy look so nice! Thank you for taking us with you my friend.

How long did it take from existing the plane to arriving at Roma Termini?
Moral of the story: Charge our batteries before traversing the Rome airport and bring a sack lunch for said walk.😁

But thanks for the good info.
Does the airport have elevators/ lifts?
I know they escalators and think they have lifts. They should have elevators.
