Healing From The Loss of A Loved One | The Book Show ft. RJ Ananthi

- The most scariest thing isn't the death of us but the people around us.
Death of a loved is one of the most dreadful thing we are never ready for and yet the irony is such that all of us would go through this one day or the other no matter how hard it looks. We are taught to celebrate the birth of people but left helpless to mourn the loss of someone. Each of us have our own ways of dealing with a death of our loved ones but no matter how painful it is, we are never alone. We aren't the only going through such pain. Millions and millions of people have walked on this very earth but no one stays forever. If death is such a natural thing, why are we in so much denial when one leaves us forever? How do we heal? Why does it feel so lonely once they leave? How do we overcome it? Is it normal to feel the arising feelings?

I lost my appa before 5 years but still it's feel like yesterday... when my family is talking about my marriage it's really very hard to accept a new relationship.. sometimes nobody cares what we feel ...I'm too trying to heal through reading books, meditation, hearing podcast but still I cry a lot.. ok one day it's going to be fine I guess..
Thankyou for sharing this sister ❤️ it's good to hear for me
The pain of losing a loved one never goes away but we will slowly stop suffering because of it. Hope you heal well ❤️
Losing a family member, be it a parent or a child or a spouse hits hard. Because it stays forever. No matter what we try, the memories gonna keep coming.
I learnt to keep the good memories and cherish it. And I wish to live upto their expectations.
They are not gone, we reflect them in one way or another.
It's a real kind of love. Loving someone even after they are gone.
Healing takes time and I must admit it only gets better but never goes away completely. And I'm ok with it.
When a simple wound takes so much time to heal, the heart does take its own time.
Find some hope to live the rest of the life. That's enough.
And it's mostly from family and friends again.
Last year I had a break up from my 8 year relationship ,she got married after breakup immediately, I don’t know nothing about her marriage and she also didn’t inform about that ,once I cm to know ,I called her before engagement ,she spoken harsh words and cut my call . I loved her more then my parents, when she scolded left me for someone else .I went in to sudden depression phase ,heart break , which I never felt before ,almost 8 months now still I m healing from my past right now I m happy ,I m single … WHATEVER SHE TOLD EXACTLY TRUE AND I GONE THROUGH IT ……. SHE EXPLAINED IN BETTER WORDS .👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I lost my grandpa last yr dec, he was bedridden I was there 24×7 taking care of him. His lose not made me to cry on that day but now, everyday I think about him. It's hard to accept that he's no more. Ur words make me feel better, tq ka. Plz tc too
Seeing this on my dad's birthday! 🥺❤ miss him a lot!❤ helped me heal more.❤
It's hard to forget someone, who gave so much to remember... 😥

I learn and practice at least one thing from your videos. This is huge and also its difficult to convey to ppl who are going through this. You made it easy, thanks for putting this during this tough time.
Thank you!
Very helpful at this phase of my life. Thank you for the thought.
Love it.
Seriously... No one could've described this much better. I lost my father a year ago and l felt the same and I've gone through the same phases. Lots of regrets and facing the society without him was just depressing. I just thought I should've seen this video earlier. But man! Hats off to you. Coming back stronger from the loss is the great thing to do and I'm doing the same here. To all those who are suffering, I wish this video must reach them one way or the other. Hope and positivity is all we need💓

The stage once healing phase pass through, we will look into more self love and love others in more better way. The positive side is we will value the life given to us in more meaningful way and willing to add value to every soul. Coz we come to realise nothing is permanent in life. We do everything for a purpose of good will somehow to help ourself and others everyday✌🏻
Excellent, a very good brief explanation about the reality, thanks.

Thanks a lot for this video much needed
I relate to every single word you said in this video. It has been more than a year, since I lost my Grandfather. Till now, I am going through all the emotions that you told. Even today morning I had a dream, where he was so sick and I was unable to help him. I felt a pain in my chest, eventhough I know that it is dream. It is almost like I want to recover, but I also don't because I have this strange thought that if I recover , I did not love him truly. Anyone else who feels like me?
Thank yu so much....
Thank you ananthi❤️❤️

It may take years to overcome the loss of a loved one. We have to be strong and keep moving in the right direction and one day we will be able to reach a point where we can be supportive to others in need. The loss of a loved one is hard to speak about to anyone and we need yo give ourselves some time to go through the healing process.
