On the show 22, I stopped using that fielding method and turned to the throwing meter. It takes a while to get used to but once you get the hang of it, it's way simpler and quicker so it doesn't mess with the flow of the episode. It also avoids throwing malfunctions that could lead to errors. A few exhibition games on player lock with an infielder would get you used to it for sure.

Hey man, I know you probably figured this out by now, but those grounding errors are based on real life. If you rush the play irl then you make an error. Same with the game, don't rush forward unless you're lined up straight on it (which you aren't 90%) of the time. Just take it slow, ground the ball, make the throw

Fyi trev, the runner may do anything within the lines of the bases, if he slides out to the side then its interference, but as long as he stays in line with the bases hes entitled to that entire area, it would be your fielders fault for being in line. In reality that was a bad flop haha, but o well

I’ve noticed if you charge the throw before you get the ball that’s when you get a lot of errors it’s best to just get the ball then power and throw especially in the beginning just my opinion tho
