for those gamers who dont have a MUX Switch or did not get the mux switch thing properly basically... the egpu (which is like the rtx, gtx etc.) connects to the igpu (integrated graphics for example if you an i5 processor you will have intel hd graphics ) so if u dont have a mux switch the egpu will first process the graphics and then send them to igpu to render them on the display u get more fps with an mux switch u can also do the same mux thing even if you dont have one by using an external display with your laptop for example i have a monitor and i connect it to my laptop that is basically mux switch on an non mux switch laptop

I think Venom is referring to JarrodTech's videos where it's true, he lists 20 laptops in a chart and it's one way to do it, but what would be better is to set a price range and compare laptops, because there is no denying that more expensive laptops will give better performance (barring a few exceptions). Therefore just set a price range and compare laptops which are in your price range. That makes the most sense. That's how I decided on my Ryzen 7 5800H and rtx 3050 Lenovo. I watched and compared videos for a couple of days and decided to go with the best bang for the buck.
Jarrod videos are still extremely detailed and good too, Personally I prefer the Jarrod's style of putting a variety in the list, So that I can compare how much weaker is GPU1 to GPU2 let's say 3050 to 3070

If ur gaming lap doesn't have a mux switch (most budget gaming laps don't) U can connect the lap to a external monitor through HDMI port or display port Since it's connected directly to discrete GPU u won't get the performance drop with native lap screen

I mean almost every person know about clock speed but noone cares about the RAM is Rx16 or Rx8 type RAM and if you reasearch about it...it makes a lot of different in performance, especially in Amd based machines.
