those drums sound like they're out of the one of the old drum pads hip-hop producers were using back in the 90's, I also like the simplicity since during that time period it was hard for a-lot of underground hip-hop artists to put together something complex. Not sure if it was intentional but the light mastering on the mix itself truly shines through and gives it that older vinyl effect feel that you might see out of a RC plugin. I understand the arrangement is a basic loop with drums but I think the beat could've been longer than 1:37. I would say stick to 2:00 AS THE SHORTEST, 3:00 AS MEDIUM, and 4:00+ AS LONG. Overall i give this beat a 10 if i put aside the length. 🔥🔥
