You know, it's very refreshing to see somebody who goes to a GC and gets to see it for the first time where I as I work at one and mine is mid as fuck lmao. Wish mine stocked more stuff like this but oh well, they pay me. Glad you had fun Jonny.
My local GC has only beginner gear for bass. Those $300 amp and bass kits from squier and ibanez and nothing over $500 on the bass wall. Small practice amps cables that are only 10 foot no nice straps and pedal wall is just boss and behringer.
That Gibson looks nice, shame it's a naughty dog and doesn't play nice... "Smoke on the water" and "Smells like teen spirit", are the only songs your aloud to play in any large guitar shop...😉
My local guitar center has nothing but absolute beginner stuff. The box kits with a cheap squier or ibanez and amp, small practice amps. Literally the nicest thing on the wall is a player series p bass not even player 2. On top of that nobody talks to you when you go in there.
@@bradleyboots687 oh man my nearest GC is 60 miles away and no Ricks but I haven’t been in a while lol or I didn’t notice lol but it’s hard not to notice a Rick 🤘

@@floofthebassplayer I got lucky with the San Fran branch by the sounds of it!
this is an impressive selection for a guitar center, typically its all low end beginner stuff.
@@poikusa0207 I had no idea what to expect tbh!
Funny thing; was at the guitar store this week and also tried the Jackson and Ibanez - 😂 great to See you had fun!

"Hello. I'm a famous UA-camr and I'd like to try some basses."
"The knobs perv?"
"Yeah...I'll just go."
They had to close the Center out of concern
I havent seen any basses of note in a guitar center in years, Id love to find a stingray there
My local GC usually has a handful of Ernie Ball Stingrays on display, as well as Sterling. Other than that, it’s Fender and Squier city 😂😂😂
Looks like you found one of the good Guitar Centers. Most are full of junk.
So I’m hearing!?
The Mustang being heavy surprises me.
@@sinakaedwards2009 surprised me too!
@@JonnyDibble About the Gibson EB what would you say it is most like out of common basses?

@@NOTshaneplaysbass I know.. sad.. I went to one in Hollywood,Ca along time ago
Most of the basses there are Mid level I don’t even think they carry Rickenbackers just your standard fender/ Ibanez and what not.
@@ChrisJohnsonChannel The Stingray was about $3000, but yeah nothing more than that from what I could see
