Wow, Eric. This is really beautiful, emotional...short but packs a big punch. Really way more powerful than I expected. I particularly loved the music choice and how you brought in the swell at the end of the letter. I wish it was longer. Like a series. A bigger story. Thank you.
Well, thats incredibly beautiful....My father had a stroke on Jan 2, 2024, it was the last day we spoke. He passed a few days later. This hit quite hard as I reflect on a year without him.
Wonderful film! Beautifully shot (Canon shooter here, too) and excellent visual storytelling. Congratulations to all on the project - you achieved the level of Excellence for which we all strive. With admiration, respect and love - from Atlanta.
@@EricFloberg i am a car freak, i bet the majority of people wont notice. It is mystery to me how films often get it wrong, has if they werent on the set to hear the engine, especially with motorcycles.
This stuff is Legit! Story telling was really good! 10/10. Visuals also really good! Made me feel cold, warm, lonely, yet safe and cared for. Again awesome stuff. Very well made. I like how the letter was following him around in every scene. That also says a lot of the character. The fact that he brought it along with him everywhere he went. Not wanting to open the letter of a loved one felt to me like he was in denial and scared to move forward. Then the unanswered phone calls of the mother as well, goes hand in hand.
Aaaaaw man!! Don’t drop this masterpiece on new year’s eve 😭😭😭😭😭! Miss my father so much but this video reminds me that he’s never that far from us 🖤! Happy new year Eric (and Cyrus on this one) and keep creating such beauty!!!
I’m seeing a few people comparing the sensors as the C70 had the insane dynamic range due to the DGO sensor. Do you feel confident in the C80’s dynamic range compared to its predecessor? This film is wonderful! A comparison of the 2 cameras would be sick.
Would be great to hear how you were exposing this on the new C as new sensor? Was this underexposed and brought up in post, similar to the C70, or was there a different method used? Trying to learn as much as possible with the C80.
The cinematography and story were incredible. Great work as always! The footage seems very grainy -- was that intentional as to give it a more film look? thank you.
Haven't done head to head testing, but I've noticed no significant difference at all. If anything, the ability to shoot so easily in any lighting scenario with the triple base, and having insane depth with prime lenses & autofocus with the full frame sensor, is just making me thrilled with it.
wow this shit brought tears to my eyes. Lost my grandpa to Cancer about 8 years ago. I miss him everyday !!! Him and Grandma! Great work!!!!
It's surreal how few minutes of a video can make you feel emotions of lifetime.
Great job to everyone who worked on this film. Really loved it.

Awesome, so glad to be a part of it!!
Me, too! Both of your voices checking in. OUTSTANDING JOB! (Thanks for letting us be part of this.)
Wonderful job Eric!! Love this!

Wow this hits different on a Monday morning, Love the work!!

Damn that ending gave me goosebumps! Great work Eric, absolute class.
So damn good! Color & Music oh man
The color was out of this world. Such an amazing camera!
The color was out of this world. Such an amazing color grader!
beautiful.
that truck is diesel in reverse and gasoline when going forward 😂
Man, I tried so hard on that sound design lol - shows how much I know about cars / hope the sentiment of the film overweighs that. ;)

I was about to say: literally the only flaw here and most peeps won't know.
Aircraft and firearms too.
Something I never would have caught lol..
owww very good!
beautiful
Who needs A24 when you have Eric Floberg videos to watch. The sound design build up at 1:30 felt straight out of movie...
gorgeous.
Well that piece of wonderful just came out of nowhere…👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Reminds me of a Trout and Coffee video. Absolutely amazing.
Absolute Cinema.
Frickin incredible. The cinematography speaks for itself but that story line is amazing 😢

Just wow
Breathtaking
The colors on this are INSANE! Excited to see the breakdown!
Made me feel all the emotions! Fitting for this time of year too! ALSO, who knew my guy Cyrus is a professional actor! 👏👏👏
What a nice Monday morning treat :)
Thanks for watching!
The lighting , acting and cinematography was next level. Great job team.
Eric, you the man, bro. Love it!
Wooow, just watched it on new years eve... Couldn't be more emotional.. Great job Eric 🙏
Pretty solid narrative short, realistic acting, solid soundtrack, the car mount shots were def my fav! Respect.

The Tripod is such an underused tool in the last few years. It made your shots look super 🔥. Well done man.
Eric, I liked your work so beautiful and meaningful! keep going, keep inspiring
Wow love it!! I’m a huge fan of your work men!
Love it!
Beautiful film. Loved how you showcased your skills with the C80
A very beautiful and moving story.

Awesome Job bro 💯
Beautiful Eric, as always. Well done my friend.

Nothing short of amazing! 👏🏽
Appreciate you, big dog!!
Didn’t wanna cry on a Monday.
❤😢 like a hobbit…the second breakfast got me!
Best 5 minutes and 18 seconds on the internet
Super kind. Thank you!
I almost cried. Plus I want to buy a cabin now
Nicely done. Good vibes.
This is beautiful! I’m trying to be like you one day 🥹
DOPE💪🏾💯💯💯💯💯
bravo, nice
Really good

Ohhh wow, Hi David😁
Thanks so much, man!
Damnit. My face is leaking. Well done.
Man this is so so good!
Thank you so much!!
Nice, cool shots. I almost picked this up but went with the Komodo X. I do miss the ease of shooting though!
This is so good! Tell me this was graded with the 606 LUTs?
Inspiring me to pick up a camera again. The voice of the singer sounds so familiar! Do you mind telling me what musician it is?
Amazing footage, please tell me, which camera lenses do you use? Thanks
Would love to know that too
Appauling. Eggs and bacon with strawberries??? Thats insane.
Would be great to hear how you were exposing this on the new C as new sensor?

❤
❤❤❤❤
Did I spot a Longlegs and Saltburn inspired shot?
very touching.... great work.... is the C80 everything they say it is?
I'm quite literally so obsessed. I love it to death.
But Jake Hayden said the picture out of this camera was supposed to look like crap
The cinematography and story were incredible. Great work as always!
The footage seems very grainy -- was that intentional as to give it a more film look? thank you.
Yup! Added grain in post, as I do for most things these days 🤘🏼
@@EricFloberg very cool! is the sensor about as clean, or more so, than the C70? Currently on a C70, but this camera is very intriguing

Love the video but it sounds like your truck started as a 6bt 12v diesel then somehow went to a gas engine? Great work though!
Hello my frend
Loved it except the unnecessary dig at millennials--don't know that we're the "soulless" ones that can afford buying properties to rent them out :)
