You've put me in the awkward position of repeating myself, but this is fantastic! This conjures up so much; the mystery of the bartender, a sense of longing, an underlying regret but resignation to the situation & a certain amount of pride in its acceptance. I was almost in the bar itself, hearing footsteps on the floorboards, the bar stool pulled out, feeling the warmth of the low sunlight through the windows. For twenty minutes I was somewhere else... This one's certainly up there with the best.
You have a really wide range of characters you voice in your audios and I like almost all of them. I like that you didn't explicitly reveal who the speaker was. I enjoyed it.
I'm just a few minutes in and I already have a couple of thoughts... 1) what drink would you mix for yourself in this situation? or 2) what drink would you expect to be mixed for you? Just wondered :)
Interesting question... I'd say either a Hibiscus Spritz (I tasted one not so long ago and it was really nice), or Margarita with Elderflower (it's really good), so something flowery and sweet :)
