My mum is 83. She came over for lunch and I put some Attenborough on youtube for her. Popped out to the shop and got waylaid. Came back and she was watching this. She said "There's something wrong with your telly!"
This is what UA-cam and the Internet at large was made for. People just sharing what they love doing anyway without any pretenses and in the best case, their personal insanity humor. Never change Ned and thank you for all the work.
Great stuff...... It might be a bit of a dry topic for you Ned, but would love to see a Max vid revolving around how to incorporate and adapt patches to the external clock/tempo......
This reminds me of the Native Instruments Razor promo video. Wavetable with representative wiggly lines, super cool! How much of this functionality is available in Max for Live?
Would it be possible to make a video audio feedback loop? Video generates audio, which is then fed back into video. I guess that’s kind of what you did already. Inspiring stuff!
Hi from Switzerland. I have been studying many of your videos about audio reactive / visual audio......and your knowledge is amazing. However I wish there would be more about midi controlling visuals...e.g. using not on / off, velocity, pitch to control whatever...colours, scales, rotation. I have made some tests but the results are not satisfying.....lack of knowledge to do more....
My parents are 85+. They don’t understand it anymore. 🥲. I have a few videos on my UA-cam channel with some rudimentary attempts visualizing sound with midi messages. My input device is a Hammond organ which allows me sending lots of messages 🤩 would be really great to have more in naughts. Is there any reason why people prefer audio input rather than midi for reactive audio ?
