Not exactly sure what I was trying to prove with this but I hope it was fun.
Played on Regular (irrelevant) EaW v. 1.9.1.15 Hoi4 Barbarossa v.1.11.10.29f3 (09ac) Non-historical Observed from the Dragon Isles as observing from Longsword (or any nation really) tends to screw the AI a bit.
caveats/screw ups
I did reverse the order of runs 4 5 and 6, but it doesn't affect the final result and I don't feel the order really matters for this kind of experiment.
2 stalemates not included
1 abort due to caught off recorder
Improperly recorded run 18, didn't realize until editing, end results included
Improperly recorded run 26, didn't realize until editing, end results included, switched with 25
Forgot to record the orignal run 29, result: C selected, NA victory, ended 25 November 1007
Forgot to record the orignal run 33, result: C selected, NA victory, ended 25 July 1007
Forgot to record the orignal run 57, result: NA selected, NA victory, ended 13 Fabruary 1008
Forgot to record the orignal run 58, result: S selected, C victory, ended 30 July 1007
Run 29 (Non aligned selected, Non aligned victory) war, end date not saved in log. Estimated between 1008-1009
Run 77 forgot to check on AI selection, assumed based on trend. This ain't rocket science 1 innacuracy isn't going to blow anything up.
Edit: Also realized I accidentally deleted some of the AI selections, sorry. Results still included (I kept a log).
Due to misnumbering, there was 1 more extra run recorded, result included.

This absolute unit ran Hearts of Iron 4 eighty five times just for one hell of a high effort shitpost, I simply kneel at the quality and dedication. It doesn't get more based than this.

I've never seen the AI win as County of Longsword
Frankly, I was hesitant to even try making this since I (and probably several others) thought it would just end up 80%+ communist. I don't know which update turned volunteers by default to "limited", or did using "observe" even from the Dragon Isles affect anything but I was surprised by the results as well.
Results wouldve been very different with an earlier version where river coalition spammed volunteers lol

That thing with ideologies beat Starry. Without all those volunteers her winrate is quite disappointing.
Yeah, but the fact Starry still starts with the most land and troops was why I was still betting on her even without volunteers. Genuinely surprised at the actual winrate.

I've played EaW but uh, I don't actually get what the leaders or characters 'points' are supposed to be? (e.g. Twilight's +1) Are they betting on or investing in the winner?
That's just part of the joke, this whole video's humor is based around the fact that I reduced a three-way civil war to a wrestling match and that various national leaders instead of keeping up with it like a politician and showing material, political, or moral support, treat it like a round of sports gambling on the weekends. It starts with the leaders from the neighboring regions who actually would be affected by the result but then gradually spreads farther in terms of both geography and relevancy.
For Twilight, since S9 is mostly non canon here, I just thought it would be funny to give her another mental breakdown from overthinking things again.
