If you watch that part again. He just uses the part 107 for the sake of the video pretty much. You should NOT register a drone under 107 if you haven't passed the faa exam. Just use the recreational option. Blue skies and happy flying mate.

Don't you love the way people make videos and don't follow up with the questions people have. It's part of making a video. Oh that's right you're just too busy. If that is the case , it's taking too much of your precious time then quit making videos.

There is still a glitch on the recreational drone page. All drones over 250g must have a number on it. You don't need a remote ID to fly in a FRIA. But you need at least one drone with Remote ID to renew your recreational drone license and have a valid number to put on your drone😢

I wonder if we have company should we register with that business name or our name ?
If I plan on getting FAA-Certified Drone Pilot License but dont have one yet can I still register my drone under 107 now even I am currently using it for recreation only currently?
No. You must pass Part 107 exam to be able to create account.
