She is stunning! Metallic shine to her coat like CZAR
She is a pretty Lil thing! Glad she's staying on the Ranch and we get to see her , Thanks for the video!❤
Henson's colt starting is always a clinic
This is indeed a beautiful filly
Wow shes nice, and a good quiet mind. Love a horse thats a thinker and works stuff out.
What a pretty picture with a blue sky and white clouds and that beautiful horse. She looks like she's so intelligent to, very alert. Thank you so much really enjoyed watching this appreciate it for your time and trouble.
I second that🙋♀️
For a new start, she's cooperative. She gives Henson some looks as if she doesn't quite believe what he's doing, but she's not freaked out.
She looks like she has great cow instincts, and gorgeous too! ❤
She’s beautiful! Absolutely beautiful…. Love her temperament….
I love this blue collar don't talk to much mentality.
She's not for sale, but everything has a price. She looks special.
I’m so glad she will stay with you!
Haha, those ears! My mare did all that ear pinning and threatening bites when saddling and we worked on it as needed. Your horse is beautiful and love the name. Another great video
She's gorgeous. You can tell Czar is her Daddy.
She's a really nice filly!
City Girl is as beautiful as Tsar! What a looker. I can’t wait to see what beautiful babies she produces in the future.
Nothing gets old on your channel. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
🙌🏼
Henson, a man of few words. Czar, getting it done with the brood mares. Be interesting to see what stud Jerry puts over her and if he breeds her for either a specific colour or performance outcome?
Always for disposition and performance
Beautiful filly! Hopefully one day soon I can buy a J Heart colt and bring it back to East Texas. Love yalls horses!
Beautiful horse as usual. 😍🐴
Dang! she is one nice looking lil filly
That's one fine looking filly. Any cowboy riding up to his girls house on this filly already has his foot in the door. Take care, Al
I love watching Henson work.
Best channel I've ever come across. PAUL from Alberta Canada.
Thank you so much Paul! Means a lot
Nothing like an Arizona sky… and she’s a beautiful horse.
That thumbnail is awesome! Good work.
Haha, thanks that literally took me like 2 minutes. Sometimes it takes me hours to think of the pic, the wording, colors etc… 😂
Beautiful confirmation. Great minded. Gorgeous color. What a filly!
That is a fine stock mare!!! Shell throw real nice babies!!!!
She looks like Czar
Henson has so much patience with these young horses . I enjoy how he gets them to pay attention and respect him. I’m new to your channel and trying to get caught up. I really enjoy watching you ranchin!
🙌🏼 welcome to the channel!!
City Girl is absoulety beautiful, love watching Henson work with horses
Lol. Let Troy get bucked off !!! Henson ain't no dummy !!
Really love watching Henson working with a horse. True beauty in motion .
She is a beauty!
It's lively buckskin yearlings today 🌻🤪 Was just watching another horse channel of a wonderful owner/trainer who's working her own young buckskin filly and she can be a handful 🌪
Real ones love Colt Seazon!!!
awww they both make it look so easy! Now, come "break" / start my filly! she's going to b a hoot! So very much wish you were close to us. Thanks for his vid. and all the other colt starting ones - I particularly need those involving halter breaking/training the young foals/colts. Hardest part for me - those that have never been touched but are already 9 mo. to a year old. Thanks again!
Nice! Filly 😍🤩😍🤩
Really good 1st ride. She would make a great saddle mare. Nice and calm all the way through. Good job, Henson.
Really nice filly, got it all, looks and brains.
🐎❤Her coat looks like pure Gold. 😍
I’m impressed by the training methods( ALL OF THEM). I’m really impressed at your responses to all of the questions. We could all learn a lot from both of you. ❤
Such a lovely horse in every way! ❤ I love her temperament. She is calm and collected but she does have her limit 😅 She is so very well built for a 2 year old. If I lived in the states I would have loved to buy a young stallion after her and your big black stallion (I can't remember his name just now 🙈) A woman can only dream...
Yes, City Girl is gorgeous 🌞 and a wonderful temperament. A great decision to keep her for the breeding program
hi...she may be your next pet !
Thank you for sharing this. Isn't she a beautiful girl? I didn't get her dam's lines. Henson is so good with her, how could someone not want to watch this? Oh well, everybody's different. I would like to thank you for the great customer care you have given me, Danielle. My brother and I really like our tee shirts, they look and feel really good.
Armchair horseman
@@PaintedDesertRanch Don't you know it🤢
7:25. My friend was watching me tack up recently. She was impressed with my way of swinging the saddle up and setting it down. Its a heavy trail saddle. I told her, ive been learning from your channel. Seems like a little thing but the horse i ride appreciated i didnt drop it down. Still a newbie with horses over here.
That’s awesome! So glad you’re learning! If you ever have any questions just ask! Thanks for watching- hopefully your friend watches now too 😁
I've always rode geldings but dang that girls too good to just live a broodmare life. Great video!!!
City Girl has some spice! Very nice filly and will probably be a great broodmare. Would love to see her in cutting......She has a look about her that speaks to fitting real well in a show arena. I know it is a dif world and extremely expensive, but with wins come dollars after the fact. A proven horse... aw... the benefits can outweigh the hassles of getting out there and proving a bloodline.
On a working cattle & horse ranch, finding the time to do that is next to impossible. Most of the AQHA breeders I know (and I know more than a few ;-) aren't involved in that aspect of the business. Unless you have a competitor in the family, most of the colts & fillies are sold as yearlings or as started two and three year olds. As far as 'proving' a bloodline, you may already know that a lot of active/working performance horses are actually leased, not owned, by competitors. If an unknown horse is mega-successful in national arenas, the breeder will automatically be sought out for more of the same without having done anything except own the ancestry. Years ago, our son trained and competed on a colt by a well known cutting sire. He was riding 'for' the couple who were leasing the colt from the owner/breeder. In that case, the performance history of the sire had already been well established. The odds of a 'new', unknown (not comtemporary famous bloodlines) horse making a mark in the arena, are not favorable, and devoting the long hours, days and years to that is time that, for most people, could be better spent.
@Deb T I agree to disagree.....proving a horse on a ranch and in the ring is a win-win in proving solid blood. Good brain and athletic ability. A ranch would need to operate under (2) mind sets....a well started young ranch horse broke put in the hands of a solid good trainer that can show the horse is not uncommon. Personally, I always look at bloodline....disposition and conformation. Then ability....and proven blood.... yes. Any horse that excels is worth more......
I love watching the training videos and the other videos that you guys put on you tube! I am so excited that I will be hopefully going to get a red roan filly from you guys soon! 🤠❤🐎
Nice looking filly!!❤
I want the first stud colt out of Monster and city girl
Lol she sure was skidish/head shy bad as a baby but she’s one good looking bay filly lol 😆
My late Daddy’s saying “ the lesson will be repeated till learned”
Never do get tired of your colt starting videos. Thank you!
It's easy to see why you keep City Girl. She is magnificent.
Mighty fine job love the horse 🐎
Gorgeous filly
Great job keep up the good work
City girl is a beauty!! She's got her daddy's palomino color with a dark mane. Thank you for sharing. God bless 🙏🤠🐴🌹
Great job ya'll! 😊❤
Henson really is a man of few words.
She is a perfect beauty 😍🐎❤️
Finally got to watch more of this. This filly is so nice. She is gonna eat up a cow. Ornery (goes along with female) is not a bad thing when started right. Speaking from experience. Still she saddled good. Same calm when you first halter your babies, no fuss from Henson just do what is necessary. Such good minds, she pulls on the lead some but not that hard, she hunts that release. Love the way you mount the offside first. She took the rider great. Good good mind💕💕
Haha Lok doing laps around the round pen. 😂
She definitely has a great disposition, and her color is beautiful.
❤❤ I love this filly! ❤❤
Beautiful ❤
What a beautiful filly ! Cheers !!

we luv coltfilly starting......
She is beautiful. Are all the brood mares started? I have seen your ride the stallions.
If we raised them and want to keep them, yes the goal is to start them. Not all of our current broodmares are started though
Beautiful dauchter...😲👍👋🇧🇪
Good Horse color and genétic i😍😍😍💥💥🐎
Nice filly
Henson needs to put his name in for "Road to the Horse". I think they are still looking for one more USA trainer for 2024.
She’s a very good horse was pretty easy to train opinion😊
I love Czar's get. He really stamps them. Beautiful disposition, confirmation and coloring. I'd like to know how he's doing after his accident. Hoping he's sound enough to still use for breeding, or AI even if he won't run barrels or do ranch work. Please say he's still with us, waiting to hear......
You need to go directly to my UA-cam page and watch the videos in chronological order. Yes, he’s fine. Yes he bred mares this year. This is the latest video of him: ua-cam.com/video/Y9yWvXqbl5I/v-deo.htmlsi=tbS81WmN6MVNb5HQ
She looks like she will be able to run a hole in the wind. I really like her conformation. Lol I’d sure be having futurity horse rattling in the back of my head in 3 years! Perhaps Crazy might be the one. Attitude helps I think. I’m anxious to see her also.
Oh she’s a looker just like her daddy 🥰
Hahaha, at first I thought a steam train was going by really fast. But then I realized it was just Loki panting. lol!
🤦🏻♀️
Beautiful filly! Did I see her try to bite Henson when he was working her with the saddle pad? It looked like he had to push her off with his fist once.
Yes
Another good looking horse. I looked through the comments, but didn't see anyone with the same question I have. Why start her for riding, if she is going to be turned out to be a broodmare?
To see what kind of horse she is, to make sure we can catch her in the future, to teach her not to be afraid of us, to teach her discipline, sooooo many reasons
She’s beautiful & thirsty!!!
