Great stuff guys, thanks for sharing. Just a tip from someone who is a bit obsessed with sound, I recommend you put your turntable on a separate shelf to your speakers. Vibrations are the enemy of great vinyl playback. I love the selection though, brilliant variety, which is typical of vinyl listeners. Great stuff!
Hey Mark! I appreciate your advice. I am aware of the vibrations and I will get my speaker off of the main shelf hopefully soon. My issue is whether I buy new tower speakers ($$$) or do I keep my current ones and make/buy speaker stands to put them on. I’m still debating over the two, which is why the speakers remain on the shelf. Since we are putting all of our money into the wedding right now, it’s hard to justify spending on the speakers/speaker stand! Hopefully soon though. It’s the last sort of ‘tweak’ I have to make to get the record room sounding even better. Thanks for the advice though, I appreciate getting the best sound possible out of my gear. Cheers!
