Hi Daz - nice to see someone reacting to a Boyce Avenue video, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I don't know how much 'research' you have done since posting this, but as I am a BA superfan, I'll give you a quick run-down of what I know! 😉
Boyce Avenue are a 3-piece band, made up of brothers Alejandro (singing here), Daniel and Fabian Manzano and they are from Sarasota in Florida. They are all excellent multi-instrumentalists and all sing well, but Alejandro is the lead singer and sometimes performs alone but still under the BA name. They have done many collaborations with other artists (often UA-cam creators like themselves), whether it's just Alejandro or two/three of them, and have worked many times with Connie Talbot.
They began uploading acoustic covers of songs to UA-cam from their parents' home/garage in 2007, and also write and perform their own original songs (they have released three albums). They have a huge international following, and play sell-out concerts all over the world - they have achieved all this through hard work and commitment, completely independently (apart from a brief time with a recording contract, which they weren't happy with).
Earlier this month (Sept. '23) they concluded a 2-week tour of the UK, and I was fortunate enough to see them play. If anything, they are even better live than in recordings, and their live shows are far more electric and 'rocky'! It's hard for me to pick 'favourites' from their vast catalogue of video uploads on their channel, but here are a couple you might enjoy: "Kiss From a Rose" (Seal); "I See Fire" (Ed Sheeran/The Hobbit); "Stuck On You" (Lionel Richie).
