Loving my pair especially the translucent part, too bad the shank plate isn’t glow in the dark. They’re comfy but it’s def stiffer than Kayano 14, and I would prefer softer soles like 1130
I really like almost everything about this collab but I just wish they had used the honeycomb mesh all the way around instead of that transluscent material. I don't like the idea that my choice of sock colour is limited because it could throw off the entire look.

I disagree, because I think if the honeycomb mesh was on the whole shoe, the pop of the asics logo and the green on the toe would get lost. I think the translucent mesh allow for the detail at the front to really pop. I hear you on the sock color issue, but I think it’s a necessary inconvenience with these
Then I like color combinations and and laces pop on feet

which ascics do you think is the most wide food friendly? like the 2160, 1130, gel nyc, kayano 14?
Maybe the 1130 because the upper is not as stiff.
