    I'd much rather have a head coach that has had previous success as a head coach. This shit is exhausting.

    This why i ride with you ,stay independent to make your own comments. Bears are in the reconstruction period as hiring Warren was a drastic change . So, let's progress go forward.

    Fred makes an excellent point regarding merch, I’ve been saying it for a few yrs, & my wife holds me to it, no Bears merch until they get back to the playoffs.
    The only thing they might hear is their profits falling? I was 6 and singing the SB Shuffle! We getting too old waiting for this 💩.

    As long as Poles/Warren do their due diligence and hire the right coach I'm happy. I happen to have a take all Bears fans can get behind, and if you can't well that's your issue. FGB all day everyday and twice on Sundays and game days.

    i never really understood poles process. in a rebuild you sell your assets for draft capital - which poles did initially but has not really done so since. you restructure contracts in your favor - which poles did. then you treat that draft cap as sacred, and trade back if the perfect player doesn't fall in your lap - poles doesn't do a great job trading back (other than the haul). if it whiffs it whiffs, but the process has to be solid. sellers when you are probably not going to make the playoffs, stand pat when your in the hunt, and buyers when you can smell the super bowl. we are miles from the SB

    I don't know much about Ben Johnson. For me, Ron Rivera is at the top of my list. Ben Johnson has never been a head coach. He also has an amassment of offensive talent in Det. The Bears have had too much success against the Lions the past few years, it puts me lukewarm on Ben. Ron is the type of toughness that we need. His recent podcast interview was basically a full-blown interview for the coaching job. I loved it. Rivera is the safest bet whom also comes proven and experienced.

      Ron Riveras experienced and proven track record definitely worked with the Commanders didn’t it?

      I really like this idea. I am hoping for Vrabel or Flores because of their prior success as NFL head coaches, but Riverboat Ron has ties to the organization and a longer track record as a head coach. However, his prior experience with the McCaskeys might keep him away, lol! Great suggestion though, 🐻⬇️

    I hear what yall are saying about Ben Johnson and I’m not saying he’d be horrible bc in reality who knows? But Kevin Warren made it clear that he’s gonna have a strong voice in the head coaching search, and said he wants a proven leader of men. That’s not just coach speak, that’s something I believe he fully intends to pursue in our next HC. Unfortunately Ben Johnson has not proven that he’s that kind of leader at this point in his career.

    Sorry but Kole for me has turn to another Jaylen Johnson. I heard all this noise, I've heard blaming the coaches, the coaches you got released, so what's your excuse now cause what they showed in the 49ers game that got destroy by FG's with the Rams proves once again they were very beatable. So every stop the blah blah blah, lets see some forward results.

    If you look over Johnson to get an experienced HC and land Vrabel, you better hope they land an elite OC who can develop Caleb based on his skill set and give the offense an identity.
    Also, if the OC turns this thing around, you better hope he stays for at least 2-3 years before considering a HC gig.

  • @derralupton5388
    @derralupton5388 11 годин тому

    Bens enticing but Vrable is probably the best bet! Experienced and NO nonsense.

  • @ansonjackson6254
    @ansonjackson6254 14 годин тому

    My biggest concern is that Bears ownership/management always goes for coordinators who are NOT the "hot" names but CHEAP. Think about the post-Lovie hires: Trestman, past his prime Fox, Nagy, and Eberflus. What they all have in common are these attributes. Ben Johnson is the "hot" coordinator now, which means he probably won't consider the Bears. Personally, I would rather see the Bears go after a head coach with NFL experience. IMO Kingsbury is a better option than Johnson because of that experience, but to me the best candidates are Vrabel and Flores (who I wanted before they hired Flus). Both of them have had successful runs as NFL head coaches, but even better, they're no nonsense, old school guys with balls who will not tolerance the shenanigans that Flus put up with. Let's hope the Bears front office has learned their lesson and goes after a head coach with credibility that the players will respect their. My 2 cents.

      @hawaiiantimes7702 because of Andy Reid.....Matt Nagy's play calling isn't the reason but Ben Johnson's play calling could very well be the reason Detroit wins a super bowl this year...nice try

    • @hawaiiantimes7702
      @hawaiiantimes7702 16 годин тому +2

      I’m not trying, I’m just saying facts. Ben Johnson is a good OC for the Lions and the players they have on that offensive squad. He’s never been a HC and it’s only been a couple years of him being successful at his job. Don’t forget all those years before at Miami. Nobody knows how he’ll be as a HC and to be honest, this organization will only give you 1-2 years to preform before you get fired and the cycle starts all over again. Been watching this team for 40 years and the only thing consistent thing about this organization is failure.

      @@hawaiiantimes7702 Nagy has been riding Andy to success for a great while now. Even now as the “OC” of the chiefs Mahomes is having his worst statistical year of his career. Jeez I wonder why. 🤔😂 Ben Johnson has been calling his plays for the past 3 years now. And has been having a top 5 offense.

    • @hawaiiantimes7702
      @hawaiiantimes7702 15 годин тому

      Oh don’t be a stat sniffer. KC still winning, Lions still winning, Bears not winning. KC’s players are executing to win especially at the end of the game, Lions offensive players are still winning, Bears players are not. Of course we NEED a HC, OC, DC and ST coach, but we also need players to execute on the field. It’s slim pickings for HCs to hire and successful OCs aren’t necessarily a sure thing as everyone seen in the past.

    Nagy didn’t call plays or even design them for KC. ben johnson is the lions. once he leaves the lions will be exposed. they keep giving campbell props but it’s johnson who is the engine of that team. just like kyle shannahan was the engine of the falcons when they went to the SB.
    we can NEVER hire a defensive coach again. we are 40 years behind the packers cuz they hired Mike Holmgren and we hired wannstedt, thinking passing / offense / west coast offense was a fad.
    Ben Johnson and Salah need to be our HC and DC.

  • @hawaiiantimes7702
    @hawaiiantimes7702 15 годин тому

    Crazy to see with all the film on this team to watch every game, folks still blaming the coaches on why this offense is not executing and how these receivers are getting NO separation whatsoever and when they do get it, the QB doesn’t see them. O-Line been rocking 3rd stringer squad. QBs a rookie so I’ll give him a pass for now. Receivers have been locked down lately and butter fingers last week. Special teams… felt like a double doink again. Feels like deja vu every year… for the past 40 years

    Kingsbury, Flores, and Brady No, hard pass on all three.
    Fred says the truth. Just remember old Mrs. McCaskey once said a wining team is too expensive or something to that effect. It's one of the reasons the team was dismantled after 1986 and has been in the crapper ever since minus 2006.
    P.S. Fred you meant the word "Peace" when you mentioned the "P" word .... right. Haha love it.
