Drew explores the French River that cuts its way through the Canadian Shield between Lake Nipissing and Georgian Bay - in beautiful Northern Ontario. He drives there in a 2021 Ford F250 Tremor 7.3L V8 Gas engine, and provides a helpful review. First he explores the French River in a Yamaha FX Cruiser SVHO then heads to Crane's Lochaven Wilderness Lodge for a guided tour - while avoiding the rapids - has fun fishing and enjoys a delicious fish fry. Then Drew tests out the Starcraft SVX 190. It sure looks like he wants this deck boat all for himself. Been to Lochaven a bunch of times. My old boss organized a fishing trip every year for his guys and other Mechanical Trade companies. I even took my father there, and he has gone back on his own. Great place, great people, great fishing, great memories. Just awesome. My fondest memory is, while my father was sleeping. Ed showed me how to run the rapids in my jet boat. Once my father woke, we went fishing. My father said we were drifting too close to the rapids. So I started the engines and just sent it down the rapids. Never seen some one deform plastic handles and have such white knuckles before. Still makes me giggle and my dad loves telling this story. Turns out just below the rapids is a honey hole for Walleye. Highly recommend a stay at Lochaven. Ed and Sue are great and add to your experience.
