Many steeler fans need to listen to you guys. Everything you guys are saying makes absolute sense on how the game played out. Many fans on facebook are complaining that it looks like the same offense as the last few years like you guys said. Some are saying Fields sucked. He did what he needed to do. He was known for turning the ball over and he did not turn it over like Cousins did so that is a step forward for Fields. If Wilson starts next Sunday, we'll see how the offense is with him
I mean but that's football 101. Everyone knows what turnovers do. Fields kept us a float and that's all that matters in those moments but putting up TDs is a huge legitimate concern, because that luck or style gameplay that happened last game only goes so far. I hope Fields found some confidence in it and it only makes him better moving forward.

I'm the one person that watched Cam J punt line drives... No wonder everyone is returning twenty yards. The best punt was Boswell, 43 yards and clobbered immediately ( including preseason)
Complaining about a win is crazy. Don't know why the Bears gave Justin away for free but you guys are going to have a very good year with Fields and your coaching staff.

*Geno Smith, Goff, Baker Mayfield, and Stafford are all QBs who took advantage of their "2nd ACT" Just maybe QB Justin Fields can become that 5-Star type that turnt so many heads like these other QBs that succeeded with a new team*
It was a GREAT defensive game. That said, we need to score Touch Downs in addition to kick Field Goals if we expect to compete.

All I'm gonna say after witnessing that first game is this OC better not be Canada 2.0 because it's already starting to feel like it
It was week 1, relax. Arthur Smith isn’t going to show all his cards the first game of the season. Fields was named the starter right before the game and they had to adjust on the fly. The defense was dominating, so all we had to do was win the time of possession, turnover battle and get enough yards to get Boz out there and we did just that. We have a new offensive line with a few players making their first start as well as a QB who has struggled in the past with turning the ball over so he played it safe yet still took chances when we needed to like at the end of the half with 30 seconds left that got us 3 points. Did you not see the Falcons have to call timeouts because he confused tf out of them at times? If you don’t think he’s an upgrade over Matt Canada then you’re a complete moron.

He played it safe and it worked. He avoided calling plays in certain spots on the field where there game wreckers were, and called the right plays to move the chains. After the first sequence, we had ONE 3-and-out and had 6 scoring drives, could have been 7 with that 4th down stop. If you don’t think he’s a huge upgrade over Matt Canada you don’t know anything about football.

You guys are so delusional it's pathetic. There are literally professional sports writers writing the exact same thing! So let's not just act like I'm the only one. My whole point was he couldn't find the end zone regardless! You ppl act like we haven't already had a very concerning pre season with him as well but I'll let that pass because I know how the excuses work. All I was saying is he better not be, in other words hoping. I know reading is tough. for all this talk about how bad the broncos roster is, how many times has a steeler team lost one of those games, i would say at least 10? steelers lost 3 games in a row last year against horrible and depleted rosters, so we will see, plus you have that altitude factor
