DISCLAIMER! I didn't catch it upon my initial recording but I didn't include the section at the end of the trailer featuring Puppet Link! Just to get my quick thoughts on this down, I'm super excited about the prospect of this! The puppet gimmick has long been of my favorites in the Zelda series so to see it utilized again and repurposed for Link is super exciting and I think will make for an awesome part of the game! Sorry that I didn't include that part into the video, I didn't notice until after the final edit was complete!
Glad to see we're all seeing how BIG this game looks! Currently working on a similar video because it's so cool how big the game looks! I'm really excited for EOW, a lot more than I was after the first trailer
8:42 the color scheme on this wall reminds me of how the 3Ds remake of oot color coded the walls of the water temple to make it easier to navigate (compared to the original). I’d love it if eow’s jabu water area is really hard, necessitating color coded walls to correct totks pushover water temple
I was saying that I'm glad swordfighter has a limit, but I just thought of something. If we are going to be closing the rifts, and need to go into them to restore the sword meter, maybe after closing all rifts or just fully upgrading the "level" it wouldn't be so bad to eventually unlock unlimited swordfighter form.
@@reev9759 dawg it’s not that big of a deal, I’m not reuploading over something that trivial. I even said that I wasn’t sure what it was and that it looked like a pumpkin to me.
I'm actually going to try to use the sword as little as possible. It seems the whole point is that she is not a fighter, but rather more like a mage or summoner, and solving puzzles using echoes and other abilities is what the game is designed around.
Yo, I’m lovin’ that Volvagia from Ocarina of Time made a comeback in Echoes of Wisdom. That’s some real OG vibes right there. Feels like they might be droppin’ hints for an OOT remake on the Switch 2 soon, ya dig?
Volvagia originally appeared in Zelda II The Adventure of Link, so it could also just be throwbacks to previous bosses similar to how BOTW and TOTK revived certain old locations/enemies.
You might want to check footage from the demo at Pax West, there is some interesting content there! Also, some people started a new save in the demo, and saw some things from the begging of the game, as well as some other features (which I am not going to say as it is kinda spoilery).
Theory: Just as many other franchises have been doing the "multiverse" thing. Perhaps these rifts allow the crossover of characters from other iterations of Zelda. Could explain why we're seeing the return of previous bosses, etc. Might we also see other iterations of Link?...
@@stonecoldsaa I do not, I suspect it’ll vary significantly tho given the nature of the gameplay. The game has leaked so I’m sure there is someone out there that has said how long it takes but I’d urge you to avoid looking at any of the leaks so you can enjoy it spoiler free!
I love the idea of the still world but I just hope it isn't as generic as TotK's underground. The underground was amazing when you started out, but after a while it becomes apparent that it just repeats itself over and over. IMO that was TotK's biggest flaw.
The still world definitely looks like it's more handcrafted semi-linear levels. I'm also 90% sure each rift will be it's own seperate level with no way to get from one to another within the still world.
@@fishyperil2153 if we enter a rift in the gerudo desert, that still world will be desert/gerudo themed if we enter a rift in the faron wet lands, that still world will be tropical/deku themed because the bits of land, dungeons, and what not are all directly and literally taken from Hyrule thus, on it’s basic premise, it can’t be as generic as TotK’s underground
