Watching late. I appreciate that you record this for those who can't watch live.

Thank you for your horse care input. I love that you really reiterated that roughage should be their primary food source and feed secondary. I am thankful that I took a course from the UT Extension office here in TN about horse care, pasture mgmt, forage make up, how the horse's digestive system works, behavioral philosophy, basic first aid, intestinal parasite mgmt/worming, horse anatomy, etc. It was very educational. I highly recommend people looking to own a horse take a course like that prior to purchasing a horse.

Smiled about your comment about having good vet relationship unfortunately for me my vet sometimes talk over my head by thinking I am much more versed on animal care than I do which makes me research more but darn didn't want to be vet just love animals however you need to have BASIC KNOWLEDGE it's your responsibility to take care of ANY animal you own ❤

No Thrush powder is wonderful for keeping thrush at bay around the frog. Animax antibotic ointment works wonders for Scratches/Mud Fever on pasterns.

Also, I have found that being proactive to prevent injuries or poor behavior instead of reactive...however, with horses, they will always find something to try to kill themselves with!! They just seem to be accident prone!
