I'm sure the private lake cooled you off, especially when you got out. I didn't get a chance to go up there. It was an awesome 3 way. Had a blast. Thank you for watching, commenting, I appreciate it. Take care. 🇺🇲
Wow! That was quite some tour of the water plant. Very hands-on experience. Learned a lot watching your video. They are basically a city within a city. Managing a vast network of canal and hydro. Behind the scenes of the GRID. Cool video. Keep en coming 👊
The tour of the waterplant was awesome. We also took a tour of the control room, no pictures or videos were allowed. It's amazing how far our water comes from. Thank you. I will be posting more videos soon. Thank you for watching, commenting, I appreciate it. Take care (Desert) Steve. 🇺🇲
Only watched half thus far, but I was reminded that my son drove Bradley Armored vehicles and M1 Abram’s tanks in the 7th Calvary stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. Around 1994, they were building the unit back and training to go back to Afghanistan and they went out to a desert training area in California. My son was one of a small detail that loaded all those Bradley’s and tanks on to rail cars for the trip out and unloaded them in the California desert. And repeated this work for the trip back to Texas. It was one of his most memorable Army experiences.
Hope you enjoyed watching. Your son must've had his work cut out for himself... lots of equipment shipped out. Thank you for being a subscriber for many years. Thank you for watching, commenting, I appreciate it. Take care Frazier D. Friend... 🇺🇲
Fantastic!!!!!! I can't believe they let you guys go IN there!! Huge things happened out in the desert and I've always wondered about the systems thaaat get water from the Colorado River to Las Vegas, Ventura and LA. Not to even mention training exercises for WWII that didn't blink at losing soldiers to get them trained for combat. Sad, but it happened. Thank you for this video and for commemorating this service so those in the future know that it happened.
👍... I know, it was an amazing tour were able to go on. The information was mind-blowing. Crazy how many soldiers trained in that desert. This trip was amazing, I will never take for granted the trip out to Havasu AZ. Thank you for watching, commenting, I appreciate it. Take care. 🇺🇲
