How much do you feel CFA will affect your potential income? I feel like I'm always chasing a way to be competitive and it's rarely paid off. (Got 770 in GMAT, but wasn't convinced MBA where I could get in with my mediocre GPA was worth the price/2 years). Is the CFA a slam dunk investment in time? Do you think you got more money than the time you lost and do you think that was a lucky or average result?

What was your motivation for obtaining the CFA? I currently work a back office finance job that I like.
