I'm wondering whether a dark age Mongol tower rush would be viable against Jeanne d'arc? How strong is she in the dark age?
Not very? Like aside from the usual effect it would have on normal french, trying to snipe out jeanne with a tower is a waste of time, you can't really deny her getting to level 2
@@MortarGuyX So I'm guessing you'd just fast feudal and open Keshiks. By strong, I meant whether Joan alone could deny your tower from going up, killing all your spearmen and villagers?

I hate Jeanne so much, and I barely want to play multiplayer at all until she’s nerfed because the lower ranks are starting to figure her out and it’s a real piss off. I don’t know why the pros are so careful with her - adding in two royal knights and her, even samurai can’t tank that. I can’t get anything out in time unless I heavily delay Feudal, but I don’t want to do that because I need to get to crossbows so I can counter something.
I guess dark age spears into a quick feudal uma bannerman with horsemen just might be the play. (Japan main)
Jeanne shouldn’t have the hero PLUS early royal knights. They’re bad enough on their own.

Her aoe attack she gets from the man at arm version is the most OP, complete joke of a balancing failure the devs have ever made, literally makes spears irrelevant and you just get wrecked until you have to surrender cause she’s in imperial and your stuck in feudal unable to mine gold
1st
