The best way to do this song is to make it yours and unless you're Mariah Carey or Christina Aguliar who can get a way with the runs, because it's what they are known for, then less runs the better. I make the lyrics my own based on my own heartbreak, because in the end what makes a song unforgetable is the achiness that come from the singer. That is what pulls the heart strings of the listener. I can do this song and the only run I throw in is on the last "tonight" in the chorus. Try it. Utilize the emotion of the words and you won't need to showboat with runs..
Correct. Be your original self. But if you have an interest in doing runs, practice outside of the song running arpeggios up and down the scale. Or there are YT videos on that.
I love this instrumental because it's allows me to sing this song, I do it quite well very low.

its like 2 years late but just sing an octave lower f4 is not high for male

@@wierzbaplaczaca how low can you go? I guess you are bass? You don't have to hit f4, d#4 is still on the key,just be on the key ahahah imma high baritone so when I'm feeling good I hit A4 instead of F4 it still on the key
@@Estanceviri Sometimes I can go F#2 butA2/G#2 is easy to me. From G2 to C#4 i can sing easy in chest. D4/D#4 - yes i can but it's like a low belt or long note or sometimes i can sing D4 like nothing. I can heady mix from D#4 to A#4 ( sometimes i can go D5). My head voice is wide( D4- B5/C6). I can falsetto/airy whistle from Bb5 to E6 ( sometimes F#6). My voice can crack to G6 in pitchy whistle. My voice is little bright and little dark ( mixed bright and dark but bright much). Often I'm out of tune/ off key but i have not pitch and i try to train it.
@@wierzbaplaczaca so you are baritone,it's actually weird then,if you train it will become easier. When I started belting my voice would stop at f4 I've trained myself for two years now I can go to C5 with normal mix on a good day but it's generally bb4/b4 so I believe if you train you can do that too, personally I dont like my heady mix so I don't do that but with that I can go up to A5 the tone is terrible tho so I don't do that I just use chesty mix im baritone so I don't need to go that higher I can go to d2 easily and I don't like really high belts anyway (on a male) I have nodules so falsetto part is tricky after b4 my voice cracks and gets back at E5 after that I can go up to c6,with whistle it's c8 but after 7th octave it doesn't sound good so I don't try much
