It's such a beautiful shade of blue with those very cool lines going throughout the barrel and cap. Love that! I can see you have a very specific pattern of Leonardos that you're more drawn towards (the swirly lines) :P When I have my Aqua Blue someday, we'll chat up lots about that one together haha :D Also very cool that you picked up Dionysis, he's such a cool figure and the pen itself is also a very very cool representation of him, too. Hey Ru! Yeah :D Hades is such a beautiful understated beauty. So glad I have it. Now...if Leonardo can make a pen very close to your Earl Grey Tea BENU...that would be phenomenal! lol. Thank you for coming over to watch my collection video ^_^
Leonardo has so many beautiful, unique pens! I also have the Foresta Umbra, Rangoli, and Blue Aloha. Of the others, I love the Persephone, Hades, Cielo Blue, and Fioritura Viola. The Rangoli and Foresta Umbra are in my Top 5 of favorite pens currently in my collection.
The Foresta Umbra would be a top 5 in anybody's collection if they have it. It's such a beautiful resin (unless you get one that's predominantly one color over the other and that's not a jam). So happy to hear you're loving your Leonardos a lot, too! Thanks for watching, Ursula!
Your Leonardo collection is just breathtaking!! I see you as a true ambassador of the brand. I’d be more inclined to buy them if they were simply called something different! 😄
Hi Helena! I totally agree with you - their representation and perspective on these mythological Gods and Goddesses were more of a positive and "good" influenced rather than powerful and mighty. The colors were NOTHING like what I'd imagine Hades or Hermes to be. I do like Persephone's colors though. I don't find much meaning to the Hermes pen aside from what they were trying to sell with the story of travel and freedom, but the red colors don't convey that imagery for me. I just wanted a red and gold pen lol!! I think that's why Hermes is not selling well at their shop. The pen is just very confusing with its name and color scheme. And I agree with the mother of pearl and ivory dragon. It's like an ivory garden filled with beautiful white roses :) Can't wait to hear what Leonardo you decide to buy in the future! There will be a lot dropping on Fountain Pen Day or Black Friday from multiple stores. I'll try my best to let everyone know xD Thank you so much for looking at my whole collection!

Blue Aloha is an amazing first pen - I was asked to sell mine by two people, but I ended up not wanting to. It's a really lovely pen to stay in my collection.
Nice collection. My favorite is the Persephone. I try to buy different nib sizes and grinds with each different body color or style from the same manufacturer. The only LMZ we have alike is the Blue Aloha. You actually posted a comparison over a year ago, maybe longer. Enjoy those beauties!
Yes, we both have the Blue Aloha and both are so gorgeous with slight differences! Persephone is used so often because I love dusty pink inks a lot and it's the only pink Leonardo I have. Thank you Heather! 🥰 I haven’t written with my elastic EF much because it was such a wet nib, but I do love the nib. nana Rosa is such a beautiful resin! A beautiful only or first Leonardo to have :) and if your husband is still wanting that red guilloche ebonite, mine is hoping to find a new home at a great price! lol but your husband probably doesn’t want it anymore since it has been a while since his search for it or wanted the #8 sized one, which mine is a #6. Either way, my dms is open if that’s an option you guys want. Thank you so much for coming by to watch my video 😍I truly appreciate it!
Thank you for sharing your gorgeous collection! I love the mother of pearls and the forest one, but they're all gorgeous. I only have one so far, a Momento Zero Mosaico in Blue Hawaii with a stub nib. I was a bit put off because the nib was super scratchy, but I took a chance and managed to smooth it out nicely - it's hands down my most beautiful pen.
That's so awesome that you took the chance and it turned out well! You didn't want to bother sending it to them to fix or something? @@KenchanKrafts After seeing all your beauties, I'm inspired to expand my collection! For my Hawaii nib - I live in Canada and ordered it from the US, so sending it back across the border, then having it sent back to me again might have been a problem (and take forever). I guess I got lucky with it because it now writes like a dream. I then proceeded to wreck the nib on a Nahvalur that was really scratchy & misaligned, so it's not as easy as it looks to fix. I've since discovered that there's a nibmeister in Montreal, so now I have a better solution if I get another bad nib.
Wow. I didn’t realize your Leonardo collection had gotten so big. I can tell that you really cherish these pens. They are so beautiful and different. I love the Hades and Ivory pens.
Yeah...it's pretty big now! I have one more Leonardo on the way and I know for sure that if I like a resin by Stilo e Stile or Stilografica this Fountain Pen Day...I will get it this time instead of letting it get away. Last year's Euphoria got away from me and I'm very sad about it. It would have been a pen I would love despite it having just the 3 small rings on the cap band. When I mentioned "I don't have many neutrals except Hades" I was like, I know these will attract Ayana's attention! :D
@@KenchanKrafts haha you know me so well. Stilo e Stile does have some good pens. I hope you get it if you like it. I know how you feel about Leonardo lol it really does suck when a pen you like gets away.
what a collection! my eyes immediately flew to your two green pens- umbra and copper patina. Then shifted to the new mother of pearl pen. so beautiful!
Thank you, Lisa! ♥Love my green Leonardos so much. I definitely have the most of that color in my Leo collection. I wanted my PM4 to also be more green and teal, but I have settled and am very happy with the purple and yellow orange in it. :D
The Persephone Pen, OMG it's soooo beautiful! Also the Foresta Umbra is gorgeous as well! Lmao, the broccoli 😂 The Lion Rock is also REALLY pretty, I wanted to get one similar to that from Stilo et Stile but I was worried about getting to much of the clear resin. What a lovely collection!
YASSS Persephone is brilliant. It's definitely unique with lots of character. Foresta Umbra and it's brocoli will always stay with me :3 Even when I'm in need of money, I will find other ways and not sell the super special Leonardos lol. Lion's Rock uses the Foliage resin which was very very hit and miss because the clear resin part is SOOO apparent. I was on the fence a lot when Muze Pens gave me 3 pens to choose from and ALL of them had some little bit of clear parts that I didn't like, so I had to choose the one with the most greens that I did love. That's always such a tough decision. Thanks for watching, Milcah! :D And yes I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE who GUSH and RAVE about Leonardos ;) with good reason. Though they aren't for everyone.
@@KenchanKrafts Yes, though I've only got the one so far, I definitely want to add to my collection when I find my next "right" one. Yeah, the clear resin was just such a deal breaker for me. I wonder why they felt they needed it, the other colours used are so vibrant that the clear resin just feels out of place. The one that you have isn't too bad, but still I haven't seen one that HARDLY has it. And of course! I actually am subbed to your channel on one of my other YT channels lol, I didn't realize that I wasn't on this one hehe
Thank you, Juliana! :) It's such a special pen indeed. It turns from a creamy ivory in dim lighting to a pearlescent white ivory in the sunlight. It's beautiful ^_^
Ok you should get a code for Gold spot because now I'm looking at their page and will add to my wish collection. Thank you for introducing me to yet another brand I need to check out !
Yes!!! I 1000% agree! I hope GoldSpot will give me an affiliate code in the future for you guys to save when shopping with them! :) I would love to collab and be affiliated with them to spread word of support for them, too. Since they have made one of my favorite Leonardos and are wonderful people. I'm so happy to have introduced you to this lovely brand! It's so exciting to hear when others are interested in something new ^_^
Amazing collection. Thank you for sharing. I have and Abalone MZG, because I couldn’t find a MOP, but I’m really hoping I can one day get that pen. The green in that blank is absolutely stunning. I have a total of 18 Leonardo pens as well, and 1 Radius. The same as yours. I purchased mine for the same reason. The Leonardo version was not in my budget, and at the time also not available, so when Radius made a pen in that same material, I had to get one. I agree with your assessment of the Momento Magico. I had one, & promptly sold it. Never even inked it. I remember feeling so disappointed. It feels like cheap plastic, and not as well made as other models. I do however own some Furore’s. I don’t kind the ‘pointy’ ends. If you’ve read this far, Thank you 😊.
@@kagoya15 I would have read even more if you had more to say but just from what I read, I can tell you put your time into watching my whole video and I truly appreciate it! Feels great to know you also feel my same sentiments on a lot of the points I made ☺️ I’m sure I would love a Furore too, I’m thinking of Aquapetra but I have not seen one in person yet! Haven’t seen them at the pen shows I’ve been to, so I’m really hoping I’ll hold one in person soon :) That’s really awesome that we have exactly the same number of Leonardos! Glad you have met another Leonardo collector and enthusiast! Thanks for sharing your experience, Kagoya!
@@KenchanKrafts Team Leonardo members have to stick together 😁. Aquapetra is lovely. I have that and Ginger and Love potion ( Endless pens exclusive I think 2 years back ). I think it's a good thing to get a feel for the oen first before committing to a purchase. I know some find it strange, but if I don't have a connection with a pen, and if it doesn't move me, then it's not for me. Part of the hobby for me includes that genuine connection to a pen. By the way, thank you for penfluencing me to purchase my first Aurora 888. That Atlas sale was amazing. I picked up Mantova and I love it. All the F nibs were sold out when I got online, but I'm loving the M. As you noted in your video, their nibs run a bit on the dry side, so with the M nibs, that's perfect, as my preference in F & EF
Like I said on IG, soooooo helpful...but also evil! 😈I'm still not 100% on nib size for my first Leonardo, but it was definitely so useful to have all the nib examples lined up the way you did. Also, I will never be able to see the insignia and not see a broccoli, now. 🥦💖😍
We love the BROCOLI!! ♥ I will have a shorter video titled specifically for line widths of all Leonardo pens once I buy a Broad, EF, BB, and 1.5 stub steel nib units. And use the same ink in all of them for a future video. If anything, a steel EF should be great for tiny Hobonichi and a Fine or Medium great for daily journaling.
Lao, what a beautiful collection! I wondered what colors you would prefer, but it appears that your favorite color is shiny! Your green pen from Hong Kong is breathtaking. You have amazing taste. I purchased my first Leonardo recently, and love the size and shape of my Momento Zero. I call it my Lisa Simpson pen. It’s the cloud pen in the lt. blue and white. Were it not for the silver trim, it would be comical. No where near as pretty as any in the collection you showed, but this one really highlights the pen’s silhouette which I find beautiful in its own right. Thanks for sharing!
Haha, I love that! My favorite color is SHINY. I will use that from now on lol! It captures my collection very well. If I'm picturing your description of your Leonardo correctly, I think yours is the Nuvola :D It's a sweet soft color scheme =] I think of that pen as the sister pen to the Settimo Blue Cielo :D Clouds and Blue Sky. It's a lovely pen - so I'm very happy to hear that you love it! I agree that the silver trim works best for that Nuvola pen ^_^ Thank you so much for watching and commenting ♥
What a beautiful and big collection of Leonardos you have Lao! My favourite colorways out of them all😍I only have a Furore Grande in Purple with rosegold accents and nib. Mine is in ef, but with an ebonite feed and also wet. Writes more like a fine, but super smooth. You should try Furore, the Grande gives me a luxe feel in the hand and I can write for hours with it, because my hand doesn’t cramp. I would love to try the MZG and MZ as well, they are long time on my wishlist. Especially some of those celluloid ones are stunning ❤
Oh it cut one pert of my comment…i wanted to say that my favourite colorway out of your collection are Dragon Heart, Mother of Pearl, Juma and Cielo Blue.❤
@@MirnasCalmJoys Thank you, Mirnas ♥ for sharing your thoughts on your favorites among the Leonardos I shared - gives me insight to the kinds of Leonardos or pens you'd enjoy! Those 4 are absolutely lovely ^^ I'm so glad to hear that you have a similar experience to me with the 14k EF #6 nibs being super wet! It's a trait of Leonardos that will be helpful to know for those new to Leonardos. The Celluloid MZGs are extremely unique and beautiful. Also rare since Salvatore likes to just make 1 or 2 of them! As for the furore...I'm thinking of the Aquapetra xD Hopefully I will see one someday at a pen show so I can love it at first sight before buying it. I am not sold on Furore's due to their shapes, so I would need to feel them. Unfortunately, Leonardo at the SF table did not bring any Furores. I was told that Leonardos are pushing the furore out of manufacturing...but I don't know if that is official yet. So I was like, I will need to get my ONE furore before that happens. I think it's a model that doesn't get sold well, so that might be the reason for discontinuing that model if it comes to that.
Indeed! :D Leonardo da Vinci would have been super stoked with using these sophistocated pens, too! :D Maybe he'll have a black dodici ;) Such a beautiful Leonardo that one is. Thanks for watching, Frank!
I just have one Leonardo with a medium nib…. I have my eye on one of the Blue Aloha pens….. but am not rushing…. I’ll be in Rome late next year and hope to be able to visit StiloStile….if I haven’t caved by then, that will be what I’m aiming for , probably a fine nib. 😃 Always nice to see your beautiful pens 👍
That's so exciting to hear, Jean. What I would do to visit Rome and all the beautiful cities of Italy - mainly to buy Italian pens, but also to visit the beautiful sights and locales xD The blue aloha is a wonderful addition to the available Leonardos :) Hope it brings you much joy when the day comes!
Foresta and Maldive are the ones that I want so much...but I can't find them here in South Korea. I just have to wait 'til any one of those pen shops get them... Overseas purchases are expensive with all these tax...Thank you for showing those so that I can just see them on the video. You got so many pens that I want to have!
Aww, I'm sorry they don't have any stores there that do Leonardo exclusives, too. I know there is Limited Pens Korea online which is probably cheaper to purchase from that in Korea. I didn't think much about how difficult it is to purchase Leonardos when you are not in Europe or America. Thank you for watching my video and enjoying the beauty of each pen with me :)
@@KenchanKrafts Thank you for the kind reply. I know that pen shop! Actually the only shop here in Korea for the Leonardo pens. So good with reasonable prices as well. (The Korean version of the website is 'Pen-Sa-Rang' which means 'Love for the Pen'. This is my guess though; They use the same pictures on the product page!) Korea-Limited Pens are also great...but it's just that there are a whole lot more exotic Leonardos overseas(Leonardo official website and all these retail stores of their own exclusive designs). The exchange rate for the dollar is still a bit high these days for Koreans, making it difficult for me to purchase from overseas as well.
Your Leonardo collection is STUNNING! I've been looking for a pink one - I've been searching for Persephone and Nana Rosa. One day :) Quick question: Where do you get your pen trays?
Hi Krystle! :D I was sad that I didn't get the Nana Rosa when it was used in the Endless Pens Furore model. Now it's on the MZG 2.0 but much more pricey xD Lovely pink colors. I got my Pen Tray/case from Amazon haha! It's Lifomenz - basic chinese company I think. But the quality and look is very beautiful! The teal/turquoise tray is from seY Pens :D He's from Japan!
I just ordered my first Leonardo, the Momento Zero Nuvola Lilac. I wast allowed by myself to buy any more pens this year, but this color I just couldnt let pass me by.
OOO!! That one will be SOOO lovely! I'm super excited for you! ♥ That's a great first choice for Leonardo :) I cannot wait for you to feel the pen in your hands! They feel luxurious! Let me know if you have any questions when you get it, or if it's absolutely perfect :)
You make me feel like I need to make a long video of all my Leonardo‘s. I have way less than you, but of course you do that when I can’t use my arm properly. 😅
Ooo, that's a lovely deep pink, leaning slightly magenta. Thanks for the suggestion, Teresa. Definitely love to try all the beautiful pink inks that will match it well. We had the Settimos in the Bohemian Twilight resin for sale at the show, and there was just one where when you looked at the deep dark purple part of the resin and you tilt it in the light, you see the whole gamit of cosmic colors shining through like a 3-dimensional imitation of outer space or the galaxy. It was such a cool effect that I did not know the Bohemian Twilight was able to do. We looked at another Bohemian Twilight Settimo and the dark purple area did not have that same lustre. I was almost going to buy that pen, but I don't quite love the Settimo model, so I held off. But one day, I will get a Bohemian Twilight that has that amazing effect!
The viola re released 4 or 5 times, with the last set being a silver trim group of only 12 or so pens. They did this during big sales holidays but I don’t think they’ll run it anymore. Most Leonardo’s don’t get reruns. Only the Paraiso had one rerun and the Viola multiple times. Thanks for watching! 🥰
:D Yes, I have kept you all waiting ^_^ Thank you for coming to watch, Jennifer! I'm sorry I didn't have any furores to share so you could see them side by side. But it is indeed a tough decision to make for a first, but if it is a first, you can never go wrong with the Momento Zero series! If you prefer a lighter pen, the newest Piccolina or the Magicos are better.
@@KenchanKrafts I am like you. I like a squared off end. I have been looking at the Mosaico in Baobab. Unfortunately I do not live near any brick and mortar stores or even close to any pen shows. St. Louis would be the closest and I have found that it is a really small show. When I decide on one, I’ll let you know 😉
@@naomifreya1481 hi Naomi! Yes that’s the plan and it currently is writing more to my liking. The ink I chose to pair it with now makes it glide much smoother and wetter :)
I’m thinking of getting one of these at the London Pen show in a couple of weeks. I’m thinking of going for the extra fine is do you think it’s worth spending the extra money and going for the 14k gold nib or do you think the steel one is good enough? PS - thanks for another very comprehensive video
The 14k gold EF is soft so there's a bit of cushion when you write with it. The steel is very stiff, so no cushion or bounceback. I would get the gold nib if two conditions are met: 1) The pen is very special to me and 2) I prefer the soft bounciness and cushion of the gold nib. If you prefer stiffer writing because you have a heavier hand (harder writing pressure), then the steel nib will be better. If it is your very first Leonardo and you want the luxury feel, go with the gold EF :) but definitely try writing with BOTH gold and steel ef at the show if you can to see if you enjoy one over the other. Those are my suggestions on how to decide because it is a 200 dollar difference decision!

I actually am subbed to your channel on one of my other YT channels lol, I didn't realize that I wasn't on this one hehe
how fun, thanks for sharing, but first, I must get the coffee going
Thanks, Marie! Get that coffee brewin'!
WOW, what an amazing 🤩 collection! That dragon scale is so special! Thanks for sharing always such great content
What a lovely collection, Lao! The colors are gorgeous and love the sophisticated look on each pen. ❤
Thank you, Yza ♥Definitely a sophistocated look despite being quite blingful and colorful :)
I think it's a model that doesn't get sold well, so that might be the reason for discontinuing that model if it comes to that.
wow, lots of little Leonardos, da vinci would have enjoyed them, 😄
Indeed! :D Leonardo da Vinci would have been super stoked with using these sophistocated pens, too! :D Maybe he'll have a black dodici ;) Such a beautiful Leonardo that one is. Thanks for watching, Frank!
Beautiful collection Lao. And the Ivory Dragon Scale is 🔥🔥🔥!!!
IT IS LIT!!! ♥ Thank you :)
@@KenchanKrafts thank you Lao … Rome is indeed a magical city…. I hope you get there eventually x
I was wrong. It’s at 46:44
That is super interesting about the dome top on the other one. 🤔
I don’t know how you use any other pen.
LOL!! It's a mystery indeed that I would use any other pen besides that most gorgeous Mother of Pearl ;)
You make me feel like I need to make a long video of all my Leonardo‘s. I have way less than you, but of course you do that when I can’t use my arm properly. 😅
:D It's such perfect timing, wouldn't you say? A mere coincidence!
You need Diamine Sweet Dreams ink for your Persephone pen. Which Bohemian Twilight pen did you see, that was so well done?
I love the copper patina and the viola - do they ever re-release these?
The viola re released 4 or 5 times, with the last set being a silver trim group of only 12 or so pens. They did this during big sales holidays but I don’t think they’ll run it anymore. Most Leonardo’s don’t get reruns. Only the Paraiso had one rerun and the Viola multiple times. Thanks for watching! 🥰
I have been waiting for this video. I want one but I am unsure which model I want.
When I decide on one, I’ll let you know 😉
You could tune the dragon scale ef to write wetter.... Maybe then you'd enjoy it more...
@@naomifreya1481 hi Naomi! Yes that’s the plan and it currently is writing more to my liking. The ink I chose to pair it with now makes it glide much smoother and wetter :)
Can’t help but notice you showed my future pen at 38:24 🤔
LOL It could be your future pen ;) Just you wait.
@@KenchanKrafts thanks for this I really appreciate it, I will try out both nibs at the pen show
@@manifunk1 I hope you find one that speaks to you! 🥰
