- While on a family vacation in Colorado, Brent (our in-house fender fabricator) took a Halcyon 450 for a ride up Pikes Peak.

I love how all those folks swarmed around the bikes so curious and fascinated, they are real head turners for sure.
I've ridden the 250 Halcyon nearly every day for the last couple of years, and nearly every day I do so, someone asks about the bike. One needs to be social to ride a Janus, which I like. Today, I just completed some minor maintenance, all easy to accomplish. Have not, though, ridden up any tall mountains.
I think I have a new bucket list item to accomplish! Ideally, on a future Halcyon 450. A guys gotta have dreams...
My brother just got his Halcyon a couple months ago. He loves it, says you are crazy.😄

LOL!! NICELY DONE!! Lived in Colorado Springs for over 20 years; the residents know that whatever the temp is at the base of the mountain, it's 50 degrees colder at the summit. 😊

I road a 450 Honda to the top In the 70's. It was a dirt road toward the top back then.
When it snowed on us we were covered in red mud that I swear got baked on so hard I could still find some on my frame.

Janus does have a fishtail exhaust option on their bikes, they do look nice.
Not for a 450. Us 450 owners are a little short on accessories.

Any info on the windscreen, is that from Janus or aftermarket?
Was going to ask the same. I was at their factory a few weeks ago and it was mentioned a windscreen is something they want to provide at some point, but this one is probably an aftermarket.
That is aftermarket. On my Halcyon 250, I have a Puig windshield and a separate Puig deflector on top of that, both of which work really well. I suspect that a small minority of Janus owners use windshields, but I've become a convert to its ability to improve stability in winds.

If I had the money I would get a Halcyon fully loaded, but as a broke disabled vet I don't have the money. Story of my life!
