As a Christian, he's not my favorite person and I think he gets a lot wrong about Christianity. (To the point where I wouldn't believe him about Islam unless verified by someone like AP or my own research)

The word `Islamophobia’ is an inaccurate word. This is because the word `phobia’ means an irrational fear and what this report shows is that fear of Islam is far from irrational. Therefore the word itself doesn’t make sense and as such is inaccurate.

I live in Uppsala Sweden and we've had *lots* of honor killings right in my town. Actually a young woman was talking about this in the Parliament with all politicians listening. She was later killed by her father for having a Swedish boyfriend. And it's estimated around 250.000 young girls/boys are controlled by their parents or relatives because of "honor" causes. We have around 1 million immigrants in Sweden, *so just do the math!*

Females are not circumsized in Islam. It's not a Muslim practice and circumcission to boys are done by Jews and Armenians as wll, it's not exclusive to Islam. Circumcission was being practiced in Christianity too originally. Jews and Armenians circumsize newly born babies, in Islam they are circumsized when they become older. Usually 7-9 years old

A good friend of mine who is an atheist has traveled to every continent apart from Antarctica. She spent many years in the UK, and came back to Australia. Then she spent 10 years working in Saudi Arabia and used that as a hub to travel all around the region in her time off. To be atheist is such a foreign concept there that they don't have direct laws for it, however blasphemy is punishable by death. And becoming an atheist can be interpreted as blasphemy and thus...you get the gist. There have also been atheists lynched there.

I have lsIamic family and frankly, this is the most difficult part of my family life.
I'm an atheist/apostate and so is my wife, but we cannot even be open about this fact.

I was raised Roman Catholic Christian and when I decided to be Atheist I while my family (all Catholics) accepted it but still pressured my to return and even told me one that one day I will return. Catholics aren't as bad as Muslims but I still get pressure to got to church and to return to a religion I never truly believed in.

I don't need to know *everything* about Communism to be able to critique its death toll. Ridvan needs to know (or where he does not, to research) *enough* about Islam to critique it responsibly. You may have skipped over his work where he described his journey in Islam. He has a documented history of *not* critiquing other religions because he doesn't know enough (unlike Dawkins).

What is everything to know about islam? Many people disagree on what islam is! So obviously no one will know what YOU think is included in islam - but other muslims and scholars may disagree. It is completely meaningless term - mostly because islam is a terrorist cult that spread through fear and hate, rather than convincing people. They never spent too much time deciding what is and what is not in islam.

researchers have traced fgm practice to Egypt in the fifth-century BC also fgm is common practice among many none Muslim nations.

Violent practices must be erased from any religion or suffer consequences of being erased.
Wouldn’t it be much better to rid the earth of the religions that have and have had violent practices. Any organisation that has in the past done so can never claim to be good and just etc. Eg if god is all powerful and all good way so much suffering for children and innocent people thru history.

...well evolution is still a theory but even if it turns out to be true, however the world was made God made it. You also have some eminent scientists who are christians such as Francis Collins who was the head of the genome project and has written a book on how he brings the two together called 'The Language of God'.
The other thing you dont hear people talk about is the full title of Darwin's book which is ' On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.'
From that Darwin's cousin Francis Galton came up with Eugenics theory. It said that morals as well as ability could be bred and they took steps to reduce certain populations by sterilisation and sending them to war.

Islam penalizes free thought that comes into conflict with it and encourages breeding as many children as possible to indoctrinate into it.
