I used to follow this band whenever they played in north jersey and nyc area. Always had a great time.

Great cover, Terry. I just played the original for comparison, and you killed it.

PlasmaMasterDon same here, I really miss zipsters sit downs and earnest stories from his bohemian youth. Just crappy the way UA-cam has treated its original creators. Esp considering the totally constructed fakery that goes down now. Been taken over by too many opinionated conspiracists and pathetic pranksters, still some good stuff but miss the ordinary human life story telling.

Whilst it was decided the content had no monetary value - the value of comparative experience is worth lots more than a few bucks. Easy to say from this end, esp if you’d become somewhat dependent on that income. Just hope zips is managing.

Yay go zips! What a beautiful and unique version of the great late Marc. You really know your stuff as when I visited my gramma in the USA in 1976 nobody had heard of T.Rex- part of the glam trinity with Bowie and Roxy Music. Hope your getting better my dear. You were my first ever sub way back in the naughties. The voice and croons at the end are on point!

Damn, My band, Another Pretty Face were covering "Beltane Walk" in '72. I had all the Tyranasaurus Rex albums too!

Zipster - wow! You knew your stuff! The only album I found whilst on my 6 week visit ( at sweet 15) to my American family was “ The Slider”, which was released on Reprise records in the USA. It was a gatefold sleeve and the girl I bought it for was 18 ( though I actually fancied her male friend Jay) and she gave me my first ever joint. I remember fixing the sleeve to my head so it looked like I had Bolans head on my shoulders- well that brought our first ever stoner giggles on. Next day she decided it would be fun to dress me in full female hippy chic, and force me to stroll along route 9 for half an hour. The finale was forcing me to go with them to my grammas house - that Susanne sure sensed something about me I’d never seriously considered before. Fond and funny memories of my first time getting stoned, and the beloved Marc!

And one of the few times I tried drag of course - what a boho trinity of drugs, drag and glam rock and roll.

Britneysnewpage it was the 70s actually dearie. A far better decade for interesting and fabulous new music and ideas than the eat it and spew out the same 2010’s. Pop is EATING ITSELF- just like capitalism- peace! X
