North Macedonia HD

North Macedonia is a country in Southeast Europe, which gained independence in 1991 as one of the successor states of Yugoslavia. Its capital Skopje is the city of statues. There are 1000 of them built as part of redevelopment project ‘Skopje 2014’, plan to attract more tourists. North Macedonia is also a cradle of European Christianity with 365 churches in a small city of Ohrid, referred to as a "Jerusalem of the Balkans”. Ohrid and Lake Ohrid were accepted as Cultural and Natural World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
