yea sadly most just rambling chatgpt stories, and i dotn mean the text to speech voice but rather the actual story. the best channels are fy stories, scifi stories 1979, icefiction and galactiv imaginarium. each of them have real stories, the first 2 have top notch narration too
Two of the three times our race is meant you fired on humanity the third time you brought new weapons to the battlefield but that's no reason not to show you all are capabilities . We have no military secrets because that's human nature 🙄
That didn't make sense, humans build their ships because of hostile species, they knew who the Draknids were, implying they had had contact with them, so how come the Draknid didn't know who the battleships were?
Let's not use first names on the Bridge. That just seemed odd af. Let's quit acting like Humans are some unstoppable juggernaut? I could go forever not hearing the term 'Deathworlders' too Lol It was long, could have been a 3 part arc and been more in depth.
lol deathworlders or even better high grav world. any less grav would deprive us of an atmosphere except extremly special conditions. so just by statistics we are certainly on the very light gravity side or at most average. but phzsics tells us not on the light side, not within any gas breathing species. and those who come from lighter grav worlds are truely deathworlders
Rather simplistic with a great deal of repetition, with jarring scene changes and an unrealistically accelerated timeline. And of course much of the technology does not make any sense - but that isn't so different from most of what is called science fiction, with honorable exceptions like Heinlein and Niven. Still, it's pretty good for AI. The AI has clearly been improving and learning surprisingly well from human-produced source materials. It has deduced the basic principles of popular human story telling pretty well.
@@harpintn - oh, it definitely has a lot of room for improvement. The story reminds me of how maybe a seven or eight year old would write a story, except this is much more drawn out where the kid would wrap it up in about two or three minutes. But compared to what computer-generated text was like thirty years ago it's a work of genius. One step at a time!
@@alanlight7740 The main problems I have with most of the AI stories is repeated scenes, using the wrong word, and calling the same character by a dozen different names. Those are things that could be easily fixed with a little human editing instead of just cranking out several stories a day.
@@harpintn - Are they calling the same character by a dozen different names, or are they rapidly switching to whole new sets of characters with every repetition of a theme? At least in this story I got the impression of the latter. It was much more common in early science fiction when multiple short stories were later combined into an overarching narrative. But otherwise, yes.
@@claw-vb3ersure it would. HFY doesn’t mean “we’re better than everyone”, it means “we’re awesome”. Go look at “The Nature of Predators”. It’s a perfect example of exactly what I’m talking about. Besides, it’s boring when the hero wins every fight with ease.
there is one i remember where humans were devastated. and life times later nothing was know about earth. all the remaining humans knew was how to be a slave.
yea i mean those aliens seem to be really stupid. 50k years and get squisched like nothing. lifting up species and yet somehow forgot humanity in space for 300 years seems to be there are no type 2 civilisations out there in the HFY universe ai would also love to see an actual realistic space battle concept. all these stories are basiclly startrek fights, close proximity combat. the expanse had a much better concept, factoring distance and speed
At least there's no Chen and Rodriguez
I thought it was just me.
@@nepyon08Nah, I'm as relieved as you are 😂
I was thoroughly confused
Sarah Chen was engaged elsewhere.
@@tomrkba4685 Ah, of course! Saving the Andromeda galaxy.
So after watching all these AI space videos the only thing we need for taking over the universe is coffee and hot sauce.
I love all of these sci-fi channels. 'One of the occasionally smile at is the occasional mispronunciations of some key words in the story lines. 🤗

Very Very Good Story Well Done Thank U For Sharing
Yeah…let’s show unknown contacts our capabilities. Makes total sense.

😁 Thanks for the story, I did enjoy it a lot.

Praised be The Algorithm!
Fuck the algorithms...censorship is slavery...
That was fun.
Oh that this would occur. Has H learned this ? .........
I'm so happy I'm baked watching this
Well ❤
Wasn't there an old school rock group called Crosby,Stills (CHEN AND RODREGUEZ ) OH I ment NASH &Yung.

chatgpt story, dont find logic or sense
The Assurians all went to Princeton.

The AI could certainly learn from some of the old masters like Asimov, Ninven, Clarke, and Norton. They were great storytellers.

Reads like a far more realistic StarTrek. But without a Russian, Chinese, or Hispanic on board, lol
Just once I’d like to see another story where the aliens are actually on par with or better than us, and aren’t always in the wrong about everything.
then it would not be a hfy story
