    The problem with that pak sau is after he does it , he let's go , so the person is free to attack and will obviously not do the same attack they've just seen be blocked, so it just created more work , the pak sau I've learned uses blocking snd sticking so I know where my opponents hands are at all times and I stick with his movements and make sure to move with him and create opportunists to counter attack

    I've got a question Master Wong, How do you deal with someone who cant feel pain?

    • @byronandrew23
      @byronandrew23 10 років тому +4

      Even if they can't feel pain, you disable them i.e break there legs out, break arms arms, break fingers, pull shoulders, or gouge there eyes out or choke them out. Or knock them out with the right strikes to the right points. No matter the pain threshold or size you disable them there done.

    this is such a fail..
    the force is supposed to be directed at the opposite shoulder of the attacker and his pak sao should be around elbow length or else you have no control

      I’m glad to hear that you found clarity in the teachings. Mastering Wing Chun can sometimes feel complex, but it’s all about breaking down the concepts and practicing regularly. I recommend focusing on the fundamentals, like stances and footwork, as they form the basis of effective techniques. For more practical tips and resources, check out our video series on the basics of Wing Chun. Keep practicing, and don’t hesitate to share any questions you have-let’s continue this journey together! Cool! Whats the difference between Pak sao and Pak da?

    • @judoka1976
      @judoka1976 10 років тому +3

      If I are not mistaken (I haven't practice Wing Chun a a LONG time) the Pak Da movement is when you do a Pak Sao and a punch at THE SAME time. It's a beginner's drill and is fairly easy to do. The Pak Da teaches you, among other things, sensitivity and the very important concept of defending and attacking at the same time. I hope this helps.

    • @SampsoniteX88
      @SampsoniteX88 10 років тому +1

      Carlos Colon Thankyou! So 'da' basically means a simultaneous punch/strike with the technique.
