Can’t forget those teenage years when i used to take a book of Keats poetry from my Father’s book shelf and try to read and understand the meaning.I remember i could hardly grasped the real essence of it but somehow it was some connection which bound me to do so again and again,i still can’t understand that attraction,but later in life i could get the strength to write my own poetic expressions though the shyness of sharing openly is still hanging with me,but the feeling of write it down what developed secretly or suddenly at times inside somewhere,truly washes away depression.

I think it depends on your perspective. Utilitarianism isn't inherently bad, but seems to ignore something fundamentally engraved in us humans: the tendency to error. Just because something makes people happier, it doesn't mean it's equally, if not more beneficial. Porn can, in one sense, make people happy. But it can't be declared good just because of this reason. That won't be a very calculated decision, as a utilitarianist would want it to be.
I think it might not be bad on a larger scale, like economical or political. But it's really just majoritarianism hiding under a nice cloak. Something isn't guaranteed to be beneficial or good, just because most people like it. What about the rest of the people? What if they disapprove of it?
In my openion its in bad , because it drive people toward the measurement of deeds in good or bad .they did not even think about how much a thing is get utilised , they just want more and more in such a same thing..
السلام'علیکم ! خرم چونکہ آپ شاعری کے اچھے و مدلل وکیل ھیں لیہذا شاید آپ میری اس پیاسی جستجو کو سیراب کر سکیں کہ شاعری قرآن کی رو سے شدید قابل مذمت ھے !! اس حد تک قابل مذمت ھے کہ اس ھستی کہ جسے کائنات کا ھر علم سیکھایا گیا مگر نہیں سیکھایا تو شاعری کا علم نہیں سیکھایا جسکی وجہ یہ بتائی کہ وہ رسول اللہ کے شایان شان نہیں اور ھمیں فقط رسول اللہ کی اطاعت کا حکم دیا گیا ھے اس رسول کیاطاعت کہ جسے شاعری نہیں آتی تھی ! قرآن شاعری کی حد درجہ تاکیدی مذمت کیبعد یہ بھی کہہ رھا ھے کہ شعراء کی پیروی گمراہ لوگ کرتے ھیں کیونکہ شعراء ادھر ادھر کی مارتے ھیں وہ جو کچھ کہتے ھیں وہ کرتے نہیں ۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ جبکہ آپ قرآن سے بھی بہت مضبوطی و خوبصورتی سے متمسک ھیں اسکے باوجود بھی شاعری کی اتنی مدلل وکالت کی وجہ گر بتا کر میری ایک طویل جستجو کو کنارہ دیکھا سکیں ۔ جزاك اللہ خیر کثیر !!!
Narrated Ibn ‘Umar: The Prophet said, "It is better for a man to fill the inside of his body with pus than to fill it with poetry." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Now what would you say? If prophet disliked poetry, what should we do with poetry? Moreover, there are 3 places in Quran where Allah talks about poets and poetry. It is very obvious that in all these places Quran doesn't regard poetry something good. It is low level thing. Anyway. I just found this conflict, I thought I should mention. I feel so sorry about Muslim poets, they just disobeyed their prophet and Quran. If Quran doesn't regard poetry in positive sense, don't you think muslims should avoid it as much as possible? And isn't it unfair from Islamic point of view to place poetry at such high place that to be a good man one should like poetry? If poetry is something good why Quran doesn't say it is good. In fact Quran is saying otherwise...

My dear again this is your interpretation There are countless authors and interpreters who chose poetry as most beautiful method of expressing human ideas and specifically in islam, we have Naatiya poetry, Hamdiya poetry, then wisdom poetry of Attar and Rumi You might look for few more references when poetry was even recited by Muslim warriors in wars. And even people use to recite Naat in front of Prophet in poetic form. These are just few references. But if you believe the other side. I don’t mind at all. Take care
