Didn’t work for me but my son got a bit out of it … There are a large number of people out their who deplore the prevalence of bicycle trials type section that have invaded the "real" world. As I’ve gotten older I find the non-stop style sections more to my liking 😊

I like to be adaptable as well so the bicycle helps with that. Regarding moto trials I think I'd enjoy riding different styles: non stop or stop and hop or whatever.
Glad your son got something from the bicycle so at least you didn't waste money on it.

When your in the driveway track standing use less rear brake and add in pedal pressure to hold your steady. Eventually use no rear brake and let the bike roll back and forth ever so slightly with pedal pressure to adjust your balance. This same thing can be applied to your moto bike but you will be using the clutch just like your pedal pressure to help maintain balance.

It’s a lot harder on flat but a ever so slight slope is perfect and it looks like your driveway slopes towards the road

      @@2wheeltechnique436 Yes it does slope.

I never thought of that. I've been using full front and rear brake. I've been holding some pedal pressure, but I'll give your guidance a try. Thanks!

Thanks. Why did you choose this bike? I am about 5 ft 10 tall. Flow 22 or Flow 24? How tall are you? So I can have some reference to consider the size of the bike. @@twowheelgeriatric

@@ptbreak00 I'm 5' 11". I think a 22 would be too small, the 24 is right on the edge. If I ever decide to try learning more difficult skills, then I might try a slight riser bar. For what I'm using it for, it works well.
I liked the Inspired Flow after watching tons of videos and the options/price was good for me. I got the Avid brakes, which are the middle of the line.

Thanks again. I think a 24 would be my size. Jitsie has similar street trial bikes too. Hope I could have some test ride if possible and decide. @@twowheelgeriatric

I got a Jitsie Hybrid 24" a few days. I had some basic skills training on it. Front wheel lift, rear wheel lift, rocking the front wheel and the back wheel, hopping and track stand. The BB height is + 50mm. I think it is good for hopping. It is more forgiving because of the light weight. For me, it is easier to hop a trials bike than a trial moto. Hope I can transfer this skill to ride a trials moto. What a new good experience!
